Hi guys, I have a question regarding pit stop strategy: How can I set the fuel before I start the race? I accidentally changed it to 99l (not sure where) and even if I change the fuel in Qualifying I'm stuck with 99l in Qualifying. Is this a bug?

I'm on PS4.

How do you know if youre TM is in the pits?! I went in and it said 'box currently occupied' and i had to drive though and it screwed up my race!

i almost pitted then saw the notification on the left of the screen saying pit was occupied. look out for it as well as mapping the request function

Tips: Project CARS-PS4 (PLUG & PLAY & PRESETS)
Project CARS is now available in a lot of countries.
On the PS4™ versions, the T500, T300, T80, T100 racing wheels are PLUG & PLAY with included PRESETS.
-PLUG & PLAY
1)Plug your steering wheel when the PS4™ menu appears (for T300 & T80, the base’s switch must be put to the PS4 position before connecting the USB plug)

2)For T300 & T80 (only) press the “PS” button on the wheel and connect your wheel to your PROFILE.
3)For all wheels, launch the game using your GAMEPAD CONTROLLER (this is also possible with your wheel if have a T300 & T80).
4)For all wheels, when START appears in the game, just press the X button on your wheel.
5)You’re now ready to play with your Thrustmaster racing wheel!
6)Don’t turn off your gamepad controller (to enjoy the speaker functionality when you play with your wheel)
-PRESETS
You can adjust your wheel’s PRESETS in the OPTIONS / CONTROLS tab (e.g.: Calibrate Wheel, Calibrate Pedals, Calibrate ForceFeedback) and in CONFIGURATION (Axes DeadZone & Sensitivity, ForceFeeback Level, etc.).

I suppose so...I mean it certainly alerts you that you need to pit and you wont have a pleasant time until you do :) But still, I think it's a bug.

My start of a race is so bad. Any hints?! I put in first gear and when lights go green I push the throttle. Is there more to it?! :)

i also try leaving it in N whilst revving up, then quickly shifting to 1st when the lights go green. not mastered yet though lol
 
First of all the driving aspect of the game is great. It's amazing how each car has it's own personality and they are easily recognizable.

However it appears online was very very neglected during the game development so that the AI an single player could be sorted out.

There are A LOT of morons online that should be heavily penalized for driving the way they do.

We desperately need a chat box or some kind of communication in lobbies. Most people either don't talk or are in a party chat.

I've been in a few races where people are getting a jump start 1-2 seconds ahead of others and not getting penalized.

Not having any finishing or qualifying info after the races is a big problem for leagues.

Can you not use telemetry other than while your driving? It's fairly hard to look at how much your suspension is moving while your driving.

I love the game, don't take this post the wrong way. These are just some concerns I have.

They will be penalized with a drive-through penalty, if Flags&Penalties are enabled. Otherwise valid concerns. Hopefully some of it will be improved through better GUI. Not sure it's going to happen any time soon though.

That was cruddy! Great come back by the way. The pits on the right were doing a weird loading thing as you drove by them during your drive thru penalty.

Oh yeah good spot, i never noticed that, time pens need a good looking at in this game too.
 
To all those having trouble unlocking the "east bound & down" trophy (time of under 9 minutes at Cali Highway):

The time has to be set in a race, not in time trial, as you would logically assume. Just unlocked it with the Caper Monterey.
 
Im on the ps4 version, want to up AI difficulty. However, it only lets me go up in 10's not each individual number. Help!
 
Just drove the Formula A at Silverstone. Is it possible to use DRS in free practice?

Could someone also tell me the default button for DRS on the Formula A on a PS4 controller? Thanks. :D

They have kers? O I think, or maybe up on the d pad
 
Seems like the custom livery feature (only on PC) is my most favorite feature of pCARS at the moment. My mind is thinking...J-pop + pCARS?
 
I guess on the bright side on having to wait until the 12th is that they might have a patch out by then maybe. But i doubt it though. Maybe in a few weeks we will get a patch and these bugs and stuff will be fixed. I mean not everyone has the same problems though but still.

You can assign DRS to any button you want in the controller menu. ;)
 
Does anybody know if there is any difference between novice/amateur/pro or is it just the aids that get allocated to that driving level?
 
If I have to play drive club one more time, I am going to loose it! Some one get me a real game or the wheel/ps4 is going out the window!
