At the moment...yup.I do it every single race because there is no horn.
How do I do a 24 hour race when I can only adjust the laps and not the time frame? Am I supposed to calculate the number of laps or something?

Yeah I have a T300. Weird thing is I've logged 30 hours and it had never happened before, but it happened twice with in an hour. I'll give your suggestion a shot, thanks. You drive with wheel? Atleast with my T500 ps4 tries to go to rest mode due to ds4 shut down. If this is the case try to increase time after when ps4 goes to rest mode from the settings.
This is a "sim"...it's along the lines iRacing. It's about motorsports. Besides we're getting more cars shortly. One thing Project Cars really lacks in is variety. All events are straight-up races and there aren't a lot of cars to sample like GT6, so it gets boring rather easily. Not to mention that you don't really get rewarded for your efforts in the same way that Driveclub or GT does.
Word for word this sums up exactly the way I feel about PCars. What an achievement it is, and so glad that it has been a success. SMS have shown that there are plenty of people who want serious sim racing on a console. Now Assetto Corsa is on its way along with who knows who else. SMS took the brave pill and jumped first though!I personally find the racing and driving rewarding enough that I don't need cars given to me or credits as incentives.
Hell, there are cars in the game I haven't even touched yet but I feel like the cars offered are enough for me. .. of course more are always welcome.
So if I understand you correctly, you'd be happier with Project Cars if they added a couple of hundred cars and then locked them all behind a wall, then made you go out and win money by running events and winning races so you could gain access to that content by pressing a lot of buttons and watching the same graphic over and over and over as the car is "delivered" to your "garage"? I do understand some people saying there is a lack of content, especially coming from GT or Forza but that's not what sims are about. They are about exploring cars in great detail, learning all their various subtleties and nuances as you take them from track to track in varying weather conditions in races of varying length and importance. One thing Project Cars really lacks in is variety. I had my doubts too before launch that there wouldn't be any incentive to 'gain' something virtual. I have to agree that the experience of the racing itself is top notch due to the physics, different conditions and different car classes that i am totally hooked, even without winning or unlocking anything.I personally find the racing and driving rewarding enough that I don't need cars given to me or credits as incentives.

While I was privately concerned about the very small car list before I got my hands on pCars, I have to say that for me the depth of the physics engine makes each and every one totally different to drive. One thing Project Cars really lacks in is variety. All events are straight-up races and there aren't a lot of cars to sample like GT6, so it gets boring rather easily.
Now I can understand why that would appeal, but for me (and I suspect others) it was exactly what I was looking for, an end to the grind. Not to mention that you don't really get rewarded for your efforts in the same way that Driveclub or GT does.

I really don't get this "the game has poor car count!". Sigh. It's a racing game focused on motorsports, and for what it is, pCARS' hoster is the best you can find out there right now.
And just like pCars pit crew they sometimes put the totally wrong tyres on his car when it rains as well.I agree. Lewis Hamilton only has 1 car to race, & he seems pretty happy with that. We have about 70 cars with more to be added, & I think that's plenty for starters.
Most certainly notDo Superkarts have Traction Control in real life?
I have the Settings Set to "Real" and I see there is the option to adjust that setting on these. This doesn't seem right to me, and as a realism snob, I just want to make sure I'm doing it right.
Thanks in advance.
Too many road cars.
But then people would complain that there are no normal road carsI agree with this in a big way. The hypercar stuff is understandable, but I feel that by leaving the Focus / Megane / 1M / Evo stuff bog stock standard, they missed a massive opportunity by not making them a sub-GT4 touring car category. Stripped, caged, running sticky rubber and better brakes, they would have made a superb production-car championship. Or they could have been twinned with the GT4 cars to make a CTSCC style series. Would have been a great introduction to endurance races...

If we did get the GM license, we'd get a good variety probably...since GM makes it a given that their road cars are in if you want the race cars...so maybe:But then people would complain that there are no normal road cars
Better for them that they cater for as big an audience as possible seeing the car count is limited to begin with. Besides the GT4 cars come pretty close and that class might expand with DLC too.
Don't shoot me down but i'm a bit bored of seeing those in every single racing game alreadyIf we did get the GM license, we'd get a good variety probably...since GM makes it a given that their road cars are in if you want the race cars...so maybe:
Corvette C7.R GTE
Corvette C7 Z06
Camaro GT4
Camaro Z/28
I just want a C7.R....watch an onboard and you'll know lol. I don't want the rest.Don't shoot me down but i'm a bit bored of seeing those in every single racing game already![]()
Nooooo, we need the C7.R (and the Aston DBR9 as well).Don't shoot me down but i'm a bit bored of seeing those in every single racing game already
I hope SMS keeps the DLC original.
