It is said that an early update will include things that might not make the initial release, like the safety car and even a crane to pick up stranded cars under a yellow flag. @RavingLooney, you can check this thread for everything that's planned. 👍
We've already mentioned we can have 64 guys in a lobby on PC at the moment
32 and 20 are probably worse case senarios with optimisation the number will probably increase.
But the limiting factor is the frame rate drop max I can have in a race depends on track and cars I've had 40 on track and stayed at about 30fps
But tracks like imola I have to a lot less due to the track being more demanding.
as mentioned above it will vary but you should be able to I can get 30 ish on high/ med with 2gb
please also remember that my pc cost the same as a ps4 and if spent a another £100 i could crossfire the gpu's meaning i would get 4gb of dedicated graphics memory for same price as a xb1 bundle it will run higher frame rates on however by capping it at 30 it can look real pretty on my PC.Puh only 30 FPS? It looks like no matter how you want to play this game, you have to invest a b.load of money🤬
On PS4 you have to buy a wheel. On PC you need a 2000€ PC to enjoy the game lol. How can it even be that Pcars looks on PS4 as good as on an 1000€ PC? And the PC is the leading platform. The PS4 have a graphics card that is about as good as an 7850HD and can do 1080p with 60FPS on high settings and an 280x can do medium settings with only 30fps? 🤬🤬![]()

As the game gets to release the and optimization will be better and frame rates will improve.
also please remember that Intel is always more popular this means that optimization normally is better on Intel to start of with
But the way it works would mean its splits the load evenly. The male the process more efficient I believe which then yields to a higher frame rate. What graphics card do you use? As I´ve readed correctly, if you do crossfire, the RAM size stays still the same like you use one card. So yours will stay at 2GB.
I have two r9 280x cards. Maybe I wont sell one of them, keep it and do crossfire.

However its recommended that if you can afford one large gpu your better off as you will have less compatibility issues.
From reading up on it when researching specs the improvement is between 25-90%. It is also wide to check CPU speed and power to prevent bottle necks and power shortages.
As far as I have read, Crossfire is not supported in AC yet, best gameplay seems to be with a single card atm.
the support for crossfire or sli modes seems to vary massively however does seem a cheaper alternative to powerful gpusI tried crossfire yesterday with 2 x r9 280x and Assetto Corsa but got only 16 FPS (normally 50 FPS with one card) and then I´ve read something about profiles etc. but stoped it because I am no tech guru...
Is this a self build or a off the shelf PC. as having just built my PC it was surprisingly easy
That you very well the PC I just built is amd equivalent but only 2gb on the gpu my average frame rate is 30 with everything on high if put some ultra is still stays about 25fps as console gamer I'm not used 60fps so I'm happy lower frame rate. I will be uploading a vid of the games performance on my computer in terms of frame rate I would expect 40+ due to the better gpu
You're thinking right there!
That setup will do you well. If anything, the first thing I'd consider "upgrading" there is the GPU, although a 760 should be a fine starting point. Windows is fine for gaming, and such a machine can be used for a lot of other things - it'd be plenty powerful for running heavy software.
A big TV with 1080p via HDMI is very nice and gives good framerates. Many of us, including myself, use just that and are happy with it.
Beware that many TVs have high "input lag" (not pixel response time). Most TVs have a game or PC mode exactly for the purpose of reducing lag. My TV is middle of the ground lag wise, and I'm OK with it even though I consider myself sensitive to lag. Having a powerful, smoothly running PC (as you outline) helps a great deal.
As mentioned previously, a PC is the next level of gaming freedom. And you get to keep your consoles on the side. My advice is to go for it!
Edit: Also, games are cheaper on PC.
What is your setup if you don't mind? Sounds like you might be close to mine.Is this a self build or a off the shelf PC. as having just built my PC it was surprisingly easy

I think these days you build a PC for fun or to get the components you want. If you want to save money over big box you need s lot of price research and be lucky with one of those famous micro center CPU sales (if you live in the us). It becomes easier to save money at the high end thoughHello Willfred_1,
This is an off the shelf PC, I used to build high end PC's just because I love technology and computers, but I saw this and was thinking it would be simple to just buy this unless I need more power in the GPU. Like I said this was listed just under $1,000 (like $956.00), if you think I can save lots of money building it myself, I may consider it, but it seems the days of saving by building is history. What do you think?
it all depends on where you live i live in a rural part of england my choices were build one or buy oneHello Willfred_1,

Unless you are making over 6 figures or don't have lots of expenses.I can almost say with absolute certainty that it ISN'T possible to build a PC to PS4 quality gameplay at UK prices. Not a hope in heck.

your both right you cant build a pc to run it as well as a console and that's down to numbers of productionCurious - You say the price of your PC is £450 but did not include a case and OS in the list. Amazon UK has PS4 at £350
Not knocking your build, it is a nice budget build that seems to play the game very well.. but a lot of people who are looking to build a PC for their first time seem to be expecting to do a complete build from scratch for the same price as a PS4 and get similar performance and I do not believe it is possible.
Now this looks interesting, I wonder what that could be
Build 789 (15/08/14, Team Member+)
Vehicles:
* Vehicles: Rain tire #5 tread texture set.
* Added three "thingies" to vehicle list.
What are they?Three VW Things!? NOOO!!
Thee ugliest VW ever created. Ugly, but I would love to see them in a game. Google itWhat are they?
