I'd say that if we did have some sort of Porsche DLC, I'd like to see the GTE, GT3 Cup, 919 Hybrid and the 906/6 assuming the Ferrari 330 P3 Spyder is in to complete the big duel of 1966 Le Mans.

Two more 911 race cars instead of 917K and 959? Not a good idea. If I had to choose four cars, they would be
-919 Hybrid
-959 or 90's supercars like 993 GT2, 964 Turbo S etc
-917K
-911 RSR

Don't think anyone's said this before but the Super Touring, TCR, Super 2000 and NGTC cars would be a good and fun idea. We've got 2 of the 4 now and expanding those 2 further than the Mercedes and Renault SMS-R TCC spec Super 2000, BMW Super 2000 and the Opel TCR would be good as well.

Also, Croft, Thruxton, and Rockingham. Then we have the full BTCC season without the minefield of a series license.

In that vein, I'm still looking forward to the liveries for those. With the 320 TC, we got up to three team liveries. That would be awesome for leagues, if we could get the same for each marque(a la Grid Autosport).

Agreed. What they've got now is a far better base than PC1 for Super 2000. However, I feel that what is needed is an expansion of real cars like the Honda Civic, SEAT Leon and the Ford Focus. Although the same could be done for TCR as well.

I don't think we'll miss out this time. We've got RX cars from those manufacturers(in SEAT's case, VW-parent company)and it's a strong TC category to be showcased as part of the ESL. Imagine the weekends of online racing? TCC/TCR, Ginetta, GT4, GT3, RX, Multi Class. I say, those TC cars have to be in come Sept 22.

There's a WRX in this weekend's TCR Free Practice 1. I thought there was only the BTCC Levorg & WRX. Those would make good additions.

Most definitely. Especially the ms630 to compete with the gt40.

The MS630's weren't competitive with the Ford Mark 4 - in 1967 they had 2 litre V8 engines, by the time they ran with 3 litre V12's the Ford Mark 4 had been banned due to rule changes / capacity reductions.

I think 1971 would be a great year to pick for a car selection as that was the first year with the Ferrari 365GTB/4 at Le Mans (it came 5th) and the last year for the Porsche 917K (1st and 2nd) and Ferrari 512M (3rd and 4th).

The lower placings were dominated by Porsche 911S (6th and 9th-13th).

Other interesting cars included Lola T70 MK3B Chevrolet 5.0
Matra-Simca MS660 3.0 V12
Chevrolet Corvette Stingray 7.0 V8

That would be a lovely field to replicate!

Solid list my man. If not project cars 2 I hope at least forza 7 covers those.

90's BTCC super touring cars - Renault Laguna, Audi A4, Honda Accord, Ford Mondeo, Volvo S40, Nissan Primera and any others I've forgot.

BTCC licence for use in the career mode along with some current cars.

More LMP cars - The newest and last Audi R18, Audi R10 TDI, Peugeot 908 HDI FAP, Pescarolo C60 Hybride.

Porsches that aren't in many racing games - 924, 928, 944, 356, 959, Carrera GT.

As they're apparently considering the 2017 Alonso car, what about the 2015 Wilson car?

Personal favourite ever IndyCar livery. (Orange Arrows if you're wondering)

i totally agree for more TCR and offline own created championships.

After playing Dirt 4 I would love to see an owner mode in a PCars style game. I certainly don't expect it in PC2 considering how much they've already added, but perhaps if there's a PC3 it could be included.

Sorry for the small offtopic but maybe this will interest you guys ;) Found it this morning here in France. It is a comic which covers the Matra years at LeMans between 72 and 74. Not sure if it is available in english :embarrassed:

The Chevron B16 was very beautiful and many are still used in Historic racing today so it would be a nice addition, but it dates from 1969 and ran in a different class for 1600 or 2 litre sports cars.

If they picked 1971 to get the Porsche 917K and Ferrari 512M they could add a Chevron B19 which was very similar to the B16, but with an open top (also in the lower capacity class).

Below Chevron B16.

It should be quite easy to get Chevron cars into the game as the Company still exists and is still building cars - Nicola Foulston (former owner of Brands Hatch) is one of the Directors. Other notable Chevrons for the car list could include:

B24 F5000 (Chevrolet 5.0 V8) - used by Peter Gethin to win the 1972 "Race of Champions" at Brands hatch against a mixed F1 and F5000 field.

B30 F5000 (Ford Cosworth GAA 3.4 V6) - used by David Purley to win the 1975 European F5000 championship.

The following video is an episode of the popular TV show "Go with Noakes" (RIP John Noakes) which shows the building of the B30 and the first race of the 1975 European F5000 season - it really is a very interesting period piece - it looks primitive and low budget today, but at the time this was a top team.
