Tried another, didn't get it. I have a feeling you can't just force on the song, like I've been doing, to earn it.

edit: I just did the Lambo invitational. That was really fun :lol: Too bad we can't race in stuff like that.

I went into it thinking "Skidpad.. knock over 80 cones... a blind guy could do this" So I just floored it and threw the car into the cones sideways and after a second or two realized what a mistake that really was.

Actually, I selected the song when the race started and it gave it to me. Weird.

This game is awesome, I just can't believe how the changes have made this game (for the most part) better. The cars actually "feel" right, and furthermore, the physics are just outrageous... Particularly when the engine is taking into consideration body roll and such on the older cars.

I've got one awesome photo from my first hour or so of racing...

Basically, Camaro + Air over Syclone = Awesome!
 
The game is very good, but to me it's still not as good as PGR2. PGR2's track were to perfection for the most part, and the car selection had more "slower" cars, but also a well balanced list of supercars. It annoys me to join a room online and all the jokers are using A-class cars which they can't handle anyway, I don't understand why, it's not fun.

What is fun is doing a race in maybe rain or dry on say Macau or Quebec with a C-class car/bike or lower. The bikes are also a lot of fun.

Just now I had a race in Quebec on heavy rain where I used the Lotus Exige GT3 and used the in-car view, and it was awesome. But it's annoying to see all these dumb people using just A-class when 1) they're too fast 2) they can't handle them 3) they're not really fun 4) A-class and rain/snow doesn't mix
 
GMC Syclone + Ring + Heavy Snow = Awesome drifts!

This is probably one of the best games I've played in a long time.

FYI you can see your friends photos in PGR On Demand, so I've seen that picture already :p


Finally figured out the Bloc Party achievement, you have to finish 2nd.


Did a few things to try and get the Secret Agent achievement, and failed.
 
Heather just rented 2 copies of PGR4 and 2 copies of Flatout so hopefully we will be on late tonight. Just so dang busy lately hardly get to do any gaming. :sick:

I'll try it soon, I'm a motorcycle owner now and I'd like to take one out in PGR4 and hope is not a disaster like Testdrive.

Funds...
There are way too many great games coming out so we need to pick wisely. We want Half Life 2 for sure and we are still completely consumed with Halo 3 which will keep us busy for a long time.
These are all the games we want to rent or buy within the next 2 months.

We would be buying doubles of some of these so put that well over $900.00 in games.
 
Update on my order of imported PGR4

It arrived at Paris at 6:30pm, but I still think it won't arrive at my house until Monday.

@CAMAROBOY69: I agree about there being so many other great games still to come out this year.

Yeah, except the Syclone looks really awkward since it's bottoming out.

PGR On Demand is an excellent feature. It just sucks that you can only keep 5 pictures at a time online.
 


Thats pretty much the exact moment when I realized how incredibly awesome this game is!
 
Me and my roommate just took a field of Mini Coopers and beat the hell out of them using the Bentley's to get the Catch 'Em All achievement...that was more fun then it ought to have been.
 
Anyone figure out the Puzzle #2 yet for the achievement? I got #1 and #3, but not #2.

#2 is the Secret Agent one, right?

Park the DBS in front of Casino Royal on a Las Vegas track and take a picture.
 
I only had a chance to put maybe an hour or two into the PGR4 rental. Since I havent had much time with the game I cant really give an opinion of it yet. From the little time I spent with the game it seems fun. Some of the graphics are better in some areas and some are worse. The physics are definetly better than PGR3. Hopefully I will get some more time with this game so I can post a more credible opinion of it.
