Would you purchase PGR if it hit XBOX One?

Can Project Gotham Racing really survive alongside the Forza Horizon series though?

Sure they can, i don't think Forza Horizon is the absolute game ever.
There are a lot of room for improvement isn't it.

The game stuido got closed years ago. The employees went to different companies I guess
Cant confirm 100% but I am pretty sure some of them went to T10 after or around the time of Forza 3.

I still think PGR4 had some of the most amazing weather effects in a game. I am starting to notice some similar PGR4 weather effects in Horizon 2.

I personally thought PGR3 and PGR4 were wonderful games. Plus they both had the Eleanor GT500 Mustang.

Lucid Games' 2K Drive on iOS is by former Bizarre developers. If they could port it to XBLA and PSN, people would have a ready-made spiritual successor.

Never played any PGR title before but there are too many arcade games out there already for yet another one.

I thought they went to Playground Games? After all, Bizarre Creations was based in the UK, and so is PGG.

Project Gotham Racing's schtick -- real, licensed cars in a racing game that doesn't take itself too seriously, with physics that are neither wacky-arbitary nor sim-realistic -- was relatively unique at its inception, but I have to agree that I don't think there's room for it anymore. And I think @FastTech is right about Playground Games.

PGR2 is a classic, it was my first experience racing on Xbox Live, my first game racing on the Nürburgring, and we used the 4-player function a lot.

I think some went to T10 when Activision pulled the plug on Bizzare Creations as well. There were some doing work on Forza 4 which is 1-2 years before Horizon
