Mx-5 Cup and GT4 for me, thank you. This is great. Now, onto the Wishlist of touring cars at some point. ;)
I'm hoping that the Group 5 races include some tourers (although it would mean paying extra - Group 5 is day 1 DLC :irked:)

I am very excited for this game. So much so that I almost thought about getting it day one. Almost  but seriously the career mode sounds good. I hope they have a quick race as I am not sure where I want to start at. Mods available for console? That is awesome hopefully we get some great mods

So other then GT7 nothing major I just don't see any major racing game like this supporting PSVR2 didn't F1 25 just come out and it didn't support psvr2?

PSvr2 just doesn't have the sales for 3rd party to support it which is why I don't think this game will either. I could be wrong but will see.
I understand your view, and there is high chance you are right.

But for me and many other fans of vr racing this could be the last chance of proper racing game in vr. Ian Bell was pretty clear that vr is big focus in this game and they even chagen engine from UE5 to Giants just to support VR. Yes EA didn’t make F1 2025 in VR. But this is EA they even think that Rally games don’t sell well so yeah we can’t treat them seriously.

So if there is going to be any (other than GT7) good vr racing game for psvr2 this must be this one, but if not we should forget about any other with vr support. I really have fingers crossed for PMR to have psvr2 support.

Also - The Aston DB9R is now officially confirmed.

It's getting around the time for an included track and car thread. There's quite a selection so far.

Just bumped into this:

Edit:
@Famine beat me to it, of course.

$335K for a Storm? What a steal. :p

The career mode sounds super interesting. You're not encouraged to win every race, but money will still be a factor so you can't fart around either. A lot of games have customization setting for their single players these days, so I wonder if there will be certain things you can toggle to make it a bit easier/harder in regards to these career elements.

Proably a hard pass for me. I like the sound on mod support but it all depends what content it offers. The base game dosent intrest me much. Seems to be race cars only.
And i like my road cars for sure😀.

Not saying its going to be bad or anything maybe just not my cup of tea.

But if the mod support can bring some intresting stuff i might take a look on it later.

Really hyped for this game, i only hope they'll be able to obtain more licenses since basically every logo i see in game is fictional.
Or maybe this can be fixed by mods, who knows...

Glad the finances isn't something meaningless for your career progress, i just hope there is no gts style unobtanium cars until grind for a year each though.
Looking forward to it, also hope it's less easy slidey like pc2.

I would bet if you select "Global Operation" as your starting point, nearly every car will likely be purchasable from the start & you'll just have to use your starting region, sponsorships, and race finishes to keep from quickly going under whilst trying to run something like the SC63.

Would love to know, is there any confirmation or news that the players will be able to fill their team car rosters with at least a good number of these cars? Edit: Will there be Driver levels too? I love Driver levels as a feature.

Ok so it’s coming in November but besides the mid-00s GT classes we’re still only seeing a handful of models in each car category.

One of the promises Bell made for the game was “comprehensive” car classes with as full of a roster as possible, so unless they haul some serious ass over on the dev side of things and secure a ton of licenses we haven’t seen yet, I don’t see this happening.

70 cars at launch isn’t a very sizeable list either for the folks who like free play. Maybe for a career like in Race Driver Grid it works fine, but… yeah. I just have a nagging feeling they’re going to oversell and underdeliver here.

Even in those pretty filled out car classes like N-GT we have yet to see the “protagonists” in them as well, like the 360 GTC, F430, 996/997 RSR etc.

Is there likely to be a beta test ?
This is probably the closest you'll find to them talking about one, from their Discord.
There is currently no private beta testing happening, because the game is not in beta. The current program is a limited access only for feedback on specific areas. We will eventually announce something more about this

This is giving me an impression of like the old TOCA game(s). Don't remember exactly what it was called. Pro Race Driver? I have it on PS2.
Toca Race driver (1,2 and 3). They were fantastic games. I always felt project cars 1&2 were successors of that game series. And this feels right along the same lines. I still believe my very best 'racing' (not game necessarily) was on Project Cars 2. So I have high hopes!

Looks really, really good!! Is there realism options to make racing a bit less demanding? I'm not good at racing games in heavy racing traffic and damage costs might destroy me along with the probably heavy penalties from a collision.
I saw a difficulty slider, which was great in PC cars. Could dial on the AI jusssst right.
Yes I understood it has an economy but if the economy is anything like GT7 which makes it mind numbingly boring to earn credits unless you pay real money then that is what I want to avoid. The rest looks fab.
I sure hope not. GT7’s grind is so boring. I loved the GT Legends way of game progression, you had to win championships in certain classes in order to unlock those classes. Tons of fun, no grinding, wasn’t too difficult but you did have to redo some races here and there.

By the sounds of it, I will definitely want to do some quick races first to get used to the physics and FFB etc.

The one thing I hope to see is the livery editor. It will be nice in career mode if you can create your own livery
Biggest downfall of PC cars. Haha. Everybody popping out on the track with the same livery. Makes for a goofy replay. It doesn’t appear to have a livery editor, since the cars you buy have pre-made liveries but man do I wish they even have a simple livery editor, doesn’t have to be as in depth as GT7, although that would be great. Even if we can pick our own shades of colour on pre-existing liveries that would help. Change the number. If it doesn’t have a livery editor, I will for surely miss GT7’s editor. Making liveries help make the car feel like it’s your own.

While I like the amount of cars GT7 has, it lacks classes imo. I’m good with say five group five cars that are equally matched versus similar cars that are all over the place and needing tweaking and tuning to actually create a class. The focus becomes more on racing than trying to match up cars. 500 cars is too much. Hopefully they get to about 150-200 in time.

If they can bring over the livery editor from PC3 I would be happy. I'm hoping at least in career mode with the sponsorships it will allow some type of variation

PC2 for us console players only had GT1 cars
I was quite late to the PS5/GT7 game, never had a PS4 and bought my PS3 back in 2010. I'm still mad I didn't grab PC2 before it was taken off the store. I have it on PC and Xbox One but my PC isn't really good and I don't have a Xbox-compatible wheel, so can't play it really :( I hope PMR will be worth the money.

Look like they've got this one right.
