The Group 5 pack states 5 cars on PSN. Will we finally see the Lancia 🤔
Group 5 can mean a lot of things: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Group_5_(motorsport). To quote from PSN:
Race 5 fire-spitting icons from the Day 1 Group 5 Revival Pack.
Easiest is to assume - and I expect - that this means the Gen4 of Gr5, the Montecarlo, the 935, the Capri or the 320 Turbo but one could argue that quite of a few of the various Group 5 cars from the category's lifespan (1970-82) would fit the bill :)

Honestly, I thought initially that I'm gonna wait to buy the game until after it comes out but I may have to pre-order the Year 1 bundle...

With that confirming that they're not sticking strictly to the 2004 entries for the GT class, I'm very hopeful for a C5-R (and the Maserati MC12 of course).

GT & N-GT look like the best classes for a career. No need for any of that modern hypercar/GT3/GT4 nonsense.
Since they seem intent on bringing back a good chunk GTR's roster, I definitely expect the MC12 to show up at some point. I'll happily take the C5R as well, but my gut feeling is they'll use the C6.R if they want a Corvette from that era.

Thank you for reference these screenshots.
Also we can see on last 5 screenshots different liveries available for each cars.
I hope we can have updates on these or maybe the comunity could edit some liveries to add it then in the game 🤞

Or if we can dream : a livery editor like in GT7 🤩
Sadly they confirmed no custom livery feature. Have to rely on mods.

There’s not much space left in the launch lineup. They said there’d be 10 classes. 7 are confirmed. It’s not clear whether GTE (preorder) and Group 5 (DLC) are included in that 10 or are counted separately. The MX5 Cup doesn’t fit in any announced class so that’s one more.

If not at launch they may be added in year 1. The bundle says 3 extra content packs.
I have a hard time imagining they won't have at least one or two starter series with slower cars at launch.

Just spotted it costs ÂŁ9.50 extra for either edition on console than PC at Xbox store, or maybe that's both PC and Xbox combo if anyone knows why it's different?

Was looking into how much to order with Lebara mobile rewards (they do really cheap sim cards) currently offering 8% off Xbox store vouchers if it helps anyone who buys via Microsoft...

Yeah I know. I hope I don't end up regretting it.
I don't regret GT7, but looking back, I probably wouldn’t have minded getting it on sale. For PMR, I really want to see what cars and tracks they have and if they have group 5, can am and trans am.

Group 5 is pretty much guaranteed

Awesome, now I just need to see Trans Am and Can Am. Hahaha
Love that authentic option.

This would be so dope if the Escort is in the game. Project Cars has love for the Escort. Hope that continues.

Right at 2:44, imagine being able to have a full field like that. Actually in PC2 you could throw a lot of AI into the race. GT7 not so much lol

All i hope is that the game is actually playable with a controller and not a snap oversteer torture with whichever setup you use
I've gone back to PC 2 today and find it playable on the default settings, my only concern is a solid framerate on the SX. (And you can change the FOV height without the need for a keyboard.)

You could have 46 or 48 cars on track in pc1 on xbox/ps4 & more on pc (track dependent ie Le-Mans)

Can’t remember if I ever got that many cars on my PS4. I remember there being slowdown or the PS4 would freeze with too many cars on track.

I think it was only single player Le-Mans that allowed about 45 AI cars, no other track allowed this many.
