Sounds incredibly detailed.
Better than the wet track conditions in iRacing?

No idea but it looks promising!

I predict someone is going to post the GT4 class right now.

For anyone with a PS Portal, the PS store page says the game will be one that can be streamed even without the PS5. I imagine it would be a bit of a handful, the Portal sticks aren’t quite the same as those on a regular Dualsense.

That will be interesting on the consoles, especially the Series S.
I've been worried from day 1 that only the PS5 Pro will be able to keep a decent framerate. FM never drops a frame on console even with rain on every track, but there must be a reason why they clearly made some sacrifices for it. (It does have some RT though.) And I think GT doesn't feat rain on every track. Hope I'm wrong. :nervous:

The glimmer of hope for it being absolutely fine on consoles is the T2T stuff is off the GPU apparently not the CPU which is where consoles typically struggle. And there should be enough power there to do it well.

For seven cars?

GAME website previously mentioned it was worth £4.99 although that's since been removed, who knows with GIANTS price hiking..

Yeah there's no way it'll be £20. I think you're right, I've seen the value mentioned at around £5-7.

I think it’ll be fine on the base PS5 and the Series X.

The Series S does have a significantly weaker GPU than the other consoles though, so will be interesting to see how these GPU-powered weather/track effects work on it.

Maybe McLaren get added later. It does suck McLaren aren't in. Not to mention no Lotus. Especially since both brands are in PC2. Thought they'd have a good relationship with both brands. However, the surprise of having the Z and Camaro, I'll take them both.

Oh and the 964 is going to be awesome.

So excite.

Lotus is in - maybe just one car though.

Well, I remember only the Xbox One X could handle Project Cars 2's weather effects. So hopefully the new consoles cope better.
And from a gaming point of view, personally, I hope they don't go overboard with rain during the career.

I've never seen any hint or mention of Lotus but that great.

If we had my favourite GT race car ever, the Maserati MC12 GT1, added then the car list would be pretty much a dream offering for me at launch with only LMP1 missing.

I’d say the MC12 and Viper for GT are very good bets. Not sure of the other 2 if no Ferrari or McLaren. Maybe we do get the Lexus GT3.

Does anyone know if PMR features Stephen Baystead's AI commentary? None of the gameplay videos I've seen have it but I'm wondering if they're keeping it back until release.

Yeah, I think that's made my decision for not pre-ordering for me, until I've seen reviews and footage on the Series S.

Having said that The Crew Motorfest had rendering upgrades on the Series S in this latest season patch (not on other consoles) and in my opinion now looks incredible for what it is running on, best looking game I've played on the Series S (just my opinion). So, it CAN be done.

Think this shared by Ian Bell at the end of October might, could be recorded or it's really good? I noticed it but never spotted anyone commenting on it:

I was more interested to hear how the engine synth usage panned out.
