Well... it seems that that Panoz LMP1 has been in quite a few games but not in any I've played (that I can remember). Think that covers it. 🙃


The car list is slowly filling out. I think that's 17 confirmed now with around 8 others seen but not officially announced.

Yeah, think I remember reading sometime, somewhere, after Don Panoz died, there were some disagreements about who owned what. Could be my sketchy memory, though. Hopefully it's settled enough we start seeing some of their work because Panoz had some awesome cars.

I think I read that somewhere as well. After a quick search it seems that Don's son Dan took control after Don's death and eventually sold the Panoz Motorsports Group to NASCAR in 2012. this is according to wikipedia so take from it what you will

@IfAndOr it may be of no surprise to you that back in 2001 (or was it 2002 ... either way I'm too old to remember ) I was already doing full Le Mans 24 hour races. And the Panoz was my favourite car (the sound alone made it more interesting to use). Here's a 20 something year old save (the game allowed you to save while pitting) from that "event".



The real life counterpart of the specific Panoz in use in this old save was this one. #10 Panoz from the Den Bla Avis Team (drivers were John Nielsen, Mauro Baldi and Klaus Graf) from the 2000 roster. I think they didn't finish the real race. Whatever the case, amazing car and beautiful, yet simple, livery.

Based on Project Cars 2 & 3, I'd reckon there's a high chance. The CLK-LM, GTR 'Long tail', 911 GT1, and Esperante GTR-1 have all made consecutive appearances.

On Project CARS the only one missing is the Lotus Elise GT1, as the R390 and the Toyota GT-One from Le Mans are also available.

£54.99 on the UK PS Store. Preorder included the GTE pack. Extra £30 gets the year 1 season pass.
And no, there's still no mention of VR support on PS5 (or on Steam either oddly, I thought it was on there before).

I don't care about achievements/trophies but for those that do read that last paragraph:

This career actually sounds quite interesting. Regional selection makes a difference - less travel costs, more/less prize money depending on where/what you race, ability to do the rich kid playthrough and jump straight into a good car/series, etc.

Hypercars are not my thing so I like that there's no pressure to do those races, I can just be a gentleman racer in GT3/GT4/historics.
It does seem a lot like a single player iRacing on console, which is a good thing in my book.

Judging by one of the race titles in the video - "Historic Florida 300" - there's an unannounced track from that state. Sebring makes sense given the race classes.

MX-5 Cup in the trailer - I know where I'm starting my career. It doesn't fit into the announced classes so it'll be interesting to see if it's a one-make series or they add some similar competitors.

haven't been following this game but just finish seeing the trailer and it looks good.

The future is looking good with so many sims coming to PS5.

Just watched the trailer and the fact they kept saying "I'd you can afford it" sent alarm bells ringing for micro transactions. " In-game purchases optional" Was maybe thinking of pre ordering but will wait for reviews now.

The wording suggested that it was coming only for PC… since they deleted this on steam page… maybe announcment is coming? Maybe psvr2 also?

I doubt they ditched vr entirely since they switched to giants engine specifically for better vr support.

psvr2 support will sell a ********. Because there simply is nothing for us besides the Wonderfull GT7VR. AC EVO should really consider adding PSVR2 support!

Looks really, really good!! Is there realism options to make racing a bit less demanding? I'm not good at racing games in heavy racing traffic and damage costs might destroy me along with the probably heavy penalties from a collision.

P.S. I know I ask that everytime, It's just... I'd like to avoid rage moments.
