PSVR 2 support has been removed from the devleopment plan, and PC VR may miss launch but is very definitely on the way.Did anyone hear if vr was just not going to make the release date?
As opposed to generally punting on it permanently.
I’d like to unfollow the thread if its a permanent punt as i don’t really do anything with the ps5 but vr driving.
Might be time to quit consoles for good and build a pc :/
3 British circuits apparently seen on the in-game map - Brands Hatch as well as Silverstone and Donington. I'm happy with those to start, no doubt the modders will add the likes of Oulton Park, Knockhill and Snetterton.
VR (presumably PC) "a priority and in the launch window".
Only recall a comment from one of the devs about some championship mods on PC not being allowed on console because of scripts. Don't think they've said yet whether they are an official part of the game, still a lot of questions to be answered about the offline/single player. Is there any word on custom championships yet? Or will that be effectively limited to modding?
Already announced as coming in Q4 2026 as DLC.They MUST have Le Mans ...
Part of the announced endurance racing expansion which will also add 2 car classes. They MUST have Le Mans ...
I know they’re planning to release more information on multiplayer at this event. Hopefully we see some more cars/tracks teasedPMR will be at the Tokyo Games Show as part of Sega's lineup. Maybe they show off a Japanese track as there isn't one currently known for the launch (the DLC roadmap suggests that one will be part of the GT500 pack in Q1 2026).

Circuit mods were mentioned as well as cars. Hopefully the same quality as laser scanned mods for other racing games, though I have no idea how it would integrate with the weather systems. Not that it was written somewhere, but I was under the impression that modding was just related to cars, not circuits.
So another unfinished 1.0 release, content that should've been in on launch turned into DLC but they’ll take the money now. Gaming in 2025 is just wonderful.Already announced as coming in Q4 2026 as DLC.
Yes. Exactly. Glad you agree. DLC, deluxe editions, day one patches, always online, early access, features promised and then delayed to some unspecified date in the future - it’s all a load of crap whatever new game we’re talking about. So another unfinished 1.0 release, content that should've been in on launch turned into DLC but they’ll take the money now. Gaming in 2025 is just wonderful.

This is the key sentence. All the remainig stuff we already now (cost, dates, content titles), what is missing, hopefully for a short time yet, is how good is the game backboneI also feel the base game content (of which we still don't have a comprehensive list for) will be sufficient to have a very enjoyable experience.
I think that confirms what the GTP part of the Q4 2026 endurance pack will be.GTP & The Era Of Flame-Spitting Monsters (1981-1993)
GTP over the next decade fielded some of the most fearsome prototypes in history. Think the Porsche 962 that made IMSA its personal ATM until Nissan came with the 1,000bhp Electramotive-built GTP ZX-Turbo and reeled off eight straight wins in 1988, breaking Stuttgart’s strangle-hold.
Just imagine a grid on a typical race day in the late-’80s: Nissan GTP ZX-Turbo v. Chevrolet Corvette C4 GTP v. BMW March GTP v. Ford Probe GTP v. Porsche 962C.
And then, of course, there was Mazda’s gorgeous quad-rotor RX-792P (the Le Mans-winning 787B’s successor) that managed to catch fire on the grid—twice—before being dubbed “The Barbecue” by mechanics (and still finding its way on the podium!).
Good spot2 crown-jewel endurance events? So that's Daytona as well asSebringLake Jackson? Or the Petit Le Mans at Road Atlanta?

IMSA Comes To Project Motor Racing
IMSA—the International Motor Sports Association—was (legend has it) born on the back of a napkin at the 1969 Daytona 500 week. What was on the menu that night may have been lost to the vagaries of time, but over dinner, Bill France Sr. (NASCAR founder) took one look at former SCCA boss John...projectmotorracing.com

It means the IMSA series. IMSA WeatherTech SportsCar Championship and its support series, Michelin Pilot Challenge, IMSA VP Racing SportsCar Challenge, Porsche Carrera Cup North America, Ferrari Challenge North America, Lamborghini Super Trofeo, Mazda MX-5 Cup and Mustang Challenge.“The collaboration brings with it many of the US's greatest racing series past and present” this statement intrigues me the most but have no idea what it actually means 😂
