I wonder what's going to be the frequency of PMR accepting mods on console. Yes, I'm a mod lover. :D A mod that adds XP and Levels and credits would be awesome!!

Any opinions on what console I should get this one? Ps5 or series x. Not a wheel user. Dont pay for online gaming on ps but i do on xbox. Feel like the ps controller is better for racing games and i really like the 3d audio and pulse headset. But someone told me mods are better on xbox.

Mods will be the same on either console, so sounds like it really depends how much online racing you would be doing.

If you feel like the PS5 controller is better for racing games and you don't plan to race online then PS5 it is. Otherwise go with the X since you can race online

Might end up waiting until Xmas week. With all the new content rolling out for AMS2.

Relative small car roster and track roster. Except believe they are choosing a very good selection of cars and tracks. Guess this is a good thing as should really allow them to perfect the cars handling. Along with making the game play as good as possible.

Also hope ATS release a state combo pack for holiday - that would be great.

They’re always good at sweeping people up in big bombastic statements, but even taking this with an Ian Bell-sized pinch of salt it does sound promising. I’ll wait for the reviews/feedback on here to come in but with this and NASCAR 25 on the horizon it’s finally quite an exciting few weeks for new racers in what feels like the first time in ages.

Ian's actually been quite measured in his interviews, it's the rest of the team running the hype train. He's obviously taught them all his old tricks

You're right about that, some great things coming up. I pre-ordered NASCAR 25 today, I've seen and heard enough to jump in day 1. I haven't followed NASCAR for years but the game should be good fun. Loved racing oval on iRacing.

Yeah I'm sort of surprised actually that we haven't heard more from Ian as we head into the release window. Haven't seen him in this thread for a while either as I know he's a member here and has previously been active around pCars launches and the initial GTRevival announcements. I know he came under heavy fire at the time of pCars 3 round here, including from myself, however a lot of that was before we knew what had gone on in the background.

The good thing for me about certain things getting bigged up and spoken of very positively by the devs, is it's mostly been off the cuff stuff in the Discord chats and whatnot, rather than outright PR/media statements. That weirdly gives me a lot of confidence because it shows they truly believe in the product.

I also feel a lot will have been learned from how pCars 3 was handled pre launch, and they sure as heck won't want that level of backlash from the community again.

So on one hand we have this but on the other hand we still have preorder exclusive DLC which is FOMO by definition.

If I get this game I want the GTE class of course. But I still haven’t seen enough of what it offers to really want to preorder it yet.
It's not preorder exclusive, that has been confirmed on the discord - but yeah they don't say that in the general marketing.

Well… that’s good to know.

Someone needs to get the left hand talking to the right hand over at the studio.

I think @Famine might not be too far away from this, being a Sheffield Wednesday  victim sorry supporter? Would make for a good
:gtpflag: article.
Depends where it is. Yorkshire is a big place and I'm very at one extreme of it.

I wouldn't bother, it's actually an event to promote the Aston Martin strollers 😅

Hence the "not conventional racing event"

But there will be at least one dev present.

Why am I just learning these are a thing?
Someone needs to mod them into the game - with an appropriate engine of course.

There were some pics shown in the discord
Was that along with the “jokes”? I may have tuned it all out.

Anyway I hope there’s some other UK event before launch to try the game.
