Fernando’s a good dude; I worked with him when he was part of Codemasters.
Mods will be the same on either console, so sounds like it really depends how much online racing you would be doing.Any opinions on what console I should get this one? Ps5 or series x. Not a wheel user. Dont pay for online gaming on ps but i do on xbox. Feel like the ps controller is better for racing games and i really like the 3d audio and pulse headset. But someone told me mods are better on xbox.
If you feel like the PS5 controller is better for racing games and you don't plan to race online then PS5 it is. Otherwise go with the X since you can race onlineAny opinions on what console I should get this one? Ps5 or series x. Not a wheel user. Dont pay for online gaming on ps but i do on xbox. Yeah, forgetting PSVR2 support, the haptics are the one thing PC2 just can’t compare with GT7. That’d be a shame if PMR doesn’t support haptics. For me if it supports the impulse triggers and haptics on the PS5 then it would be that all day.

Project CARS 3 had very good pad handling, and the tech was added to F1 since ‘23.
Big claims indeed.
You're right about that, some great things coming up. I pre-ordered NASCAR 25 today, I've seen and heard enough to jump in day 1. I haven't followed NASCAR for years but the game should be good fun. Loved racing oval on iRacing. They’re always good at sweeping people up in big bombastic statements, but even taking this with an Ian Bell-sized pinch of salt it does sound promising. I’ll wait for the reviews/feedback on here to come in but with this and NASCAR 25 on the horizon it’s finally quite an exciting few weeks for new racers in what feels like the first time in ages.
Yeah I'm sort of surprised actually that we haven't heard more from Ian as we head into the release window. Haven't seen him in this thread for a while either as I know he's a member here and has previously been active around pCars launches and the initial GTRevival announcements. I know he came under heavy fire at the time of pCars 3 round here, including from myself, however a lot of that was before we knew what had gone on in the background.Ian's actually been quite measured in his interviews, it's the rest of the team running the hype train. He's obviously taught them all his old tricks![]()
So on one hand we have this but on the other hand we still have preorder exclusive DLC which is FOMO by definition.View attachment 1483049
Death to FOMO!
It's not preorder exclusive, that has been confirmed on the discord - but yeah they don't say that in the general marketing. So on one hand we have this but on the other hand we still have preorder exclusive DLC which is FOMO by definition.
If I get this game I want the GTE class of course. But I still haven’t seen enough of what it offers to really want to preorder it yet.

A bit too far into the wilds of the North for me, but might be in range for someone here.

I think @Famine might not be too far away from this, being a Sheffield WednesdayView attachment 1484059

article.
Why am I just learning these are a thing?I wouldn't bother, it's actually an event to promote the Aston Martin strollers 😅
Was that along with the “jokes”? I may have tuned it all out. There were some pics shown in the discord
