Wow, disablist scum.

I'm out.

It'll be free on $5 VPN trials of gamepass in one year like all other Giants titles, no point paying for beta, looks and sounds rough AF in those recent videos.

All track have laser scans:

Maybe I'll just buy a used copy after launch, and then at least I'm not financially contributing anything to Austin & Ian

Anyway, career mode beginning

You can see one effect of the starting region you choose for your career - the European cars are significantly cheaper than the Corvette because they chose Europe.

I do have to say I was quite disapointed when Austin (aka james on PRC) was rewarded for his toxic behavior.

Pretty annoying as I spent my personal time to find his accounts and get them banned from WMD1 and WMD2 as he was not only insanely critical, but he was also leaking confidential info and screenshotting messages from the private WMD forum (including at least one of mine). Remember when he leaked Project Cars 2 screenshots? Because I do.

He was (is?) also a 4chan edgelord, so the Nazi meme stuff is to be expected. Recent screenshots of his "political" beliefs are terribly disappointing to say the least.
You know what they say about pigs and grunts. Or pigs and rolling around with them, for that matter.

Feck this, I'm not handing money over just to constantly turn to the Reich for hours.

As pointed out by someone on Reddit, they appear to have added walls in the middle of some chicanes.

Here at the Roggia chicane of "Brianza", there's also one at Skyline/Esses on Mount Panorama. I wonder if they don't have a proper penalty system (yet) for shortcuts and this is the solution. That'll be fun in online races with full damage

Don't you mean the 'Dodgier chicane' 😜

ouch...

This is what may happen IRL at Roggia without barriers (was there in person)

With barriers it should be like this

They seem to very efficient, straight away having fixed all these issues that people found in the build they chose to display.

I’d like to believe. I really would.

Allegedly, creators at the expo were told by Devs that the build on display was almost 4 months old.

He's not impressed. Might be interesting for beginners. But people coming from current titles like ACC, ACE, LMU, etc. will be disappointed with physics and also inconsistencies with regards to tracks and their real counterparts.

And BTW, the graphics look pretty dull. Especially the sky.

For beginners?

With all due respect, I'll comfortably ignore that channel.

The only thing these videos are good for is clicking real quick, giving a thumbs down and then get out of there. Do not reward negative click bait garbage.
The beta program of Project Motor Racing gets updated almost daily. On top of that, there is no hidden file structure. Modding is completely open and done in a text XML format. You can change shaders, textures, physics. If a car doesn't exist, due to a license issue or whatever, you can mod it in and use existing car group parameters to BoP to complete an era or grid. You can add historic variants of tracks if they don't exist.
I don't understand what's going on with all these nonsensical videos, but let the game come out. Let the people testing it and giving feedback give that feedback. I realize that there's people in here that aren't familiar with how these things work on PC. In Assetto Corsa, people upgraded the physics engine, added weather, all this stuff. Now People are making mods that are better than the original content Kunos made. On a platform that's 10+ years old that outshines titles being made to this day.
Project Motor Racing is going to be just fine. Might be better to find something else to do for the next month rather than obsessing over inconsequential soap box barking.

The comments we're seeing are very mixed. Some say it's a pretty decent game, while others say it could be improved in many ways. If I'm used to playing R6 and I switch to Battlefield, I'll find it very hectic, and if a CoD player switches to Battlefield, they'll say it's too slow. They say the older cars are better recreated in terms of handling. I think what's happening is that people come from their favorite simulator, where they've spent many hours playing, like GT3, for example, and when they use that vehicle in the test, they find it very different. Since there's no direct comparison, they find the older vehicles better recreated.
