Let's be quite clear, it's not a "Pre Purchase Bonus", it's content that is already complete and has been stripped out of the Base Game to FOMO people into buying before release.

Both things can be true. A preorder bonus wouldn't be much of a bonus if everyone got it. It was likely stripped from the base content technically as it's there to go from launch. However it will still be purchasable after launch so it's not really FOMO as everyone could still purchase it if they wish.

Also, I'm glad it was a class that is kind of, meh, like, the GTE cars are cool, but I wouldn't miss them if they weren't there. If it was GT1, GT4, NGT, LMP or something, might have had a different viewpoint.

Are all these LMD cars real or they are concepts like in GT7?

Well Project Cars had 2 fictional LMP1, so there’s a precedent kinda. 😅
LMP2 and LMP3 cars but right. Fun cars and well worth having.

Do you think they would allow modded cars that look like Ferrari's but aren't?
It's open modding. I'm not sure they're going to have a choice. Just like AC didn't have a choice on getting Carby's.

Open modding on PC, if people choose not to use the in-game portal. Otherwise there are some restrictions, especially for the consoles.

So today's new cars are the Alpine A424 and the official confirmation of the Peugeot 9X8.

I’m going to say the Ian Bell crew learned their lesson and listened to player feedback and had a look back at their earlier game history. From Shift, PC and PC2, those games were fantastic on their own and a good way for console players to experience games that were not GT, Forza and NFS. If PMR, which it’s looking like, has the spirit of those earlier games, they’ve redeemed theirselves.

If GTA gets away with it for so many obvious models in their main game, why not?

Imagine we could make modern concept F40's (although I'm not sure if Ferrari would ever do that now?) and there probably wouldn't be a lot they could legally do either.

The difference there is Rockstar won't be looking to licence a real Ferrari a few years down the road, if PMR approve mods for a Ferfarti 297 the relationship is killed and it makes their life a lot harder when they're trying to get the real Ferrari into their next game.

On a personal note. Between me and my wife we have a Ford, a Honda and a Mazda. Just for personal brand loyalty I can at least race the Acura feeling tied to the brand with my Accord Euro. My little joys in my gaming life. :)
