Except it kind of does. That said, that has zero bearing on the actual game. I couldn't care less whether I actually like the developers, they could all be serial killers for all I care as long as the game is good. I’m more than happy to buy this if they patch and improve some of the current issues because watching some of these videos getting posted (albeit mainly the ones without AI cars to mess everything up!) there is clearly something decent there underneath it all. But probably only after I know categorically that those improvements will actually happen, which seems a fair deal to me. Fingers crossed.
Fullforce is not said to be available so didn’t turn it onWell, only the rev counter lights work for me.
The screen doesn't work. I have everything updated except the steering wheel because of the gear shift problem in the v2.5.
Did you try Fullforce?
I'm waiting for some folks to share their settings as ATM I can only describe the way you have to drive using a pad as extremely cautiously with spurts of going flat out.And now the main question for us working class plebs who haven't the financial comfort to spend €300 in a wheel: how does it handle with a controller?

Thanks! Will try this to see if it helpsThese worked well for me: Courtesy of Javen on Discord.

But... all your text is boldAgain, I want to preface this in clear, boldfaced text: I do not recall this event in its entirety and I am not submitting as evidence as it were because, as far as my memory is concerned at this moment, it isn't entirely substantiated. Also, I'm old.![]()
Probably not great, but then again, this is billed as being more serious of a sim so playing it on controller isn't really the intended way to play. And now the main question for us working class plebs who haven't the financial comfort to spend €300 in a wheel: how does it handle with a controller?
Is this more like TOCA1 for PS1 or more like Project Cars 2.1?
It's giving me TOCA1 vibes with better graphics. I'm would love to get in the 964(I actually bought some 964s in GT7 to make a mock 964 Trophy), GTO and Group 5 cars. You all are nearly getting me there.

I really need to wait til December 4 to see how much more time I'll be spending with GT7. Might have to wait til the V8 Pack. I think that might be best for me.
No this not improving, I think something is messed up with TM wheelsThanks! Will try this to see if it helps
You have to be super smooth, but this was one of the very few points I thought was better out of the box than PC2; it's much easier to feel what the car is doing. PC2 was lambasted for it's gamepad controls out of the box though, so not much of a bar. Have not fiddled with any settings though, so not sure if they can be optimized/smoothed out further. And now the main question for us working class plebs who haven't the financial comfort to spend €300 in a wheel: how does it handle with a controller?
In PC2, I was incredibly fast with the controller with just a couple of tweaks; the people I played with even thought I was using a wheel. Could you please explain your last paragraph? I assume you're referring to downloading the setups from the downloads section. Then, when loading them for your car, which one is the most useful? I understand that HighDF refers to high downforce, but does it change the other setups for that car as well?Do you think the replays and some textures can be improved on this game engine on consoles. I wonder if they can add an hd texture pack for the cockpits or a mod lighting or different cameras to help with replays. Is that something that could be modded in this game engine? or only by the devs in the future.
Is anybody making mods here. These really interest me on console as it is the first time I have used something like this in a game. I do like trying the set ups which worked well for me and I love the liveries so far. I am trying to learn blender to design a car but I think it is like teaching an old dog new tricks and my car would be a cube with square wheels. Anyone want a flintstones car
The Praga mod car although it looks beautiful it drives really bad on controller so something is glitched on that car and hopefully a new set up can be downloaded.
p.s For controller users try to download set ups in mod hub. I only adjusted a couple of sliders in the settings sensitivity and put haptic feedback right up to 98 to find my controller works so much better than other PCars games, it feels solid now.
The way you all are describing it is like real racing, you can’t see yourself outside the car. So, that’s the best way to view the game. You drive and that’s it.Personally I think the physics and driveability of the cars is better than PC and PC2. You can attack the curbs, catch slides much easier and there isn't that floatyness of PC and PC2. Graphics while playing are passable but replays are dogpile. AI needs to have awareness of the player which seems to be missing. Otherwise quite ok. I don't see why people say this is simcade 🤷 We could say that every console release is simcade since you can play it with a controller and it still is a game...I don't know. Seems a lot of sh...talking for the sake of it.
I've mostly been running GT and N-GT and driving those cars puts a big smile on my face ☺️ Yes I am actually really enjoying this 👍
On PS5 same issue with my FANATEC GT DD PRO wheel (and changing settings don't solve it).No this not improving, I think something is messed up with TM wheels
I am not at my PS5 at the moment and only had a quick mess around yesterday when I got the game, but I only downloaded the first set up one from the hub and it said installed so I assumed it installed the set up from download to the cars automatically. I haven't touched the set up of the car after installing only the settings for the controller. It felt better straight away so I assume something was done and installed. I will have a good test over the weekend installing and uninstalling set ups if I get the chance to get the controller to a good standard and share more once I get a good feeling on controller. In PC2, I was incredibly fast with the controller with just a couple of tweaks; the people I played with even thought I was using a wheel. You cannot say that..it is not GT7 where you can play quickly, there are a lot of settings to be done for FFB and the cars before you can play, I like that😀On PS5 same issue with my FANATEC GT DD PRO wheel (and changing settings don't solve it).
The Force Feedback is definitely broken on the PS5 version of the game 😩👎 .
I downloaded them too, but I think what you experienced was a placebo effect. You have to load the setups from the car settings while you're on the track, like in PC2. As far as I know, they don't load automatically because within each car you can choose three different settings: highDF, lowDF, and mediumDF. If you didn't change that in the car settings, it couldn't have had any effect on your driving.I am not at my PS5 at the moment and only had a quick mess around yesterday when I got the game, but I only downloaded the first set up one from the hub and it said installed so I assumed it installed the set up from download to the cars automatically. It was the Jesper Pederson set ups I installed below 👍

thanks, ATM nothing really changed with the TM wheels, something is messed somewhere, it's playable, not optimal, but there is a big potential, I belive that once fixed it could be greatThese may help people trying to dial in the force feedback and vehicle settings
