Oh this is a good one:

Marilyn Manson was recording a song with Trent Reznor in Sharon Tate's old house one night, and when they played back the song, clips from Charles Manson's song "My Monkey" were appearing in the track. The next morning when they played it back again to show someone, they were all gone. Oh, and Trent was living there, he bought the house.

I **** you not. Actually, I can't believe I left this out.

WHY DO I NEVER SEE ANY GHOSTEZEZ I've been looking for a while now. Ya know what? I think I'm gonna plan a trip to that condemned house (it used to be a part of a college then it was used as a psycho ward) I live in Stockton CA, we have a higher crime rate than L.A. and S.F. (not combined of course) any one else live in San Joaquin county?

I stayed a night at Stockton once..... once. That is the only place I saw gangbangers dragging a baseball bat on the major street. :nervous: As soon as I turned on the news on the TV in my motel room, there was a news about how Stockton again scored high on crime rate percentages in the country.

Boy, we certainly have alot to be proud of don't we. And we're not all bad, we have Chris Isaac Issac Isacc (or how ever you spell his name). Scince this is a ghost thread, What is the single scariest SUPERNATURAL(emphasis on supernatural) moment you ever experienced, or something a family member or freind experienced.

I see bugs flying around in my room from time to time but they aren't really there :scared:

Is this before or after you lit the pipe? :p Actually, bugs are very good at hiding. You could see them one minute, then dissappear just like that. Just last week, there was a spider that was roaming all over my dash and front windshield while I was on the freeway. As soon as I pulled into the parking lot two minutes later, I started my hunt. I was in my car with a flashlight for at least 10 minutes looking for the sucker. Never found it. :grumpy:

PS
Last May I saw a cup move across my counter. Left the room and phoned a friend.
I read that this happens sometimes, though I've never witnessed it personally. If the table is cold and you put down a cup that's really hot, hot air(I think) that's trapped between the cup and the table lifts the cup just enough to make it slide. I read this when I was a kid(i.e. 80's), so I'm not guaranteeing anything. :D

I don't know about that, but cups can sometimes 'aquaplane' on a smooth surface like a table if the tables recently been wipped down and still has a thin film of water on it.

My dads house gives me a strange feeling, its made in the 50's I think, I've never seen a ghost or anything in there, but I do hear creaks down the hallway, listening to music when I go to bed usually makes me forget about it.

Eh...yah, I've tried looking for things like that, but the cup was empty from last night after I dried it from the dishes. Too lazy to put it away.

Well, I haven't really told you guys everything. Or maybe I have, I'm just too lazy to check the rest of the thread. Ghostly/extremely weird stuff:

1. Cup moving across kitchen counter (a good 4 feet)

2. Comming downstairs in middle of night to find drawers/cupboard open
3. At Christmas, weird crap happens. One year, my cat refused to enter a room. No it wasn't his first xmas, and there was no strange noises that we were aware of, and there weren't any strange presents, he was absolutely moritified of this spot aobut 1 foot about the chair in this room. Another year, we had a ring of candles, and some other assorted candles lit, sitting on the table. Something came through and blew out the ring, but not but the candles before/aft or left/right. Another year, I came home from my aunt's house, unlocked the door, and found the tree had been re-decorated. Noone else was home, or had been home, all the doors were locked, and noone left any trace of their being there.

4. My mom dried out some roses, and put them in a vase. They were behind 2 lit candles on the mantlepiece above the fireplace. The dried out roses came out of the vase, over the lit candles, and landed on the floor. It was like something had taken them out, gotten pissed, and chucked them on the ground. Very wack sh t.

5. A clock with no batteries and a revolving centerpiece below it in a bell-jar-esque thingy started working, after 30 years of no working. It stopped after I went to pick it up.

6. Sometimes it sounds like someone is calling my name, when there's little ambient noise for me to get confused/have it be coincidence.

7. My neighbour (house is a duplex) found an 8'' cleaver plastered into the CEILING. He was renovating the basement and checking pipes when he found it.

8. Neighbours son' was in the attic one night, going to bed, he left the bathroom after cleaning up, and as he entered the room the TV turned off.

9. One night my neighbour (Brian) was walking through the hall to take a pee at night (and quite powerfully, too, he's 6'4'' 240lbs) and was stopped dead in his tracks by a wall of cold air.

10. My mom sometimes speaks of feelings at night when she swears she's felt someone sitting on the edge of the bed or heard someone walk into her room.

11. Brian has had the feeling at night that someone is standing over top of him when he's in bed, as though a child were standing over him rocking the bed.

12. My neighbour's wife (Joice) has woken up to find smoke all through the house, or fog. She couldn't smell anything, and it wasn't making her cough. It was mid-level, so not significantly lighter or heavier than air, just a general smokyness throughout. She checked the basement first, then the main level, then the second level, then the attic and found nothing.

13. A person across the road found bones inside his wall. The University said they were turkey bones, and the man being a former farmer, said they were the "largest god damned turkey bones I've ever seen..." .

14. My neighbours' attic has a door that can be slammed shut, jiggled, locked, jiggled again, and left alone only to have it slowly swing open again.

15. Brian's son's friend's dog absolutely refuses to go upstairs.

16. And last, but certainly not least, Brian & Joice's daughter in-law in sleeping over and woke up and saw a "green woman" standing in her doorway.

My brother is convinced there's a ghost or ghosts in our house, and every weekend he has a new story to tell me. He insists he keeps seeing flashes of light coming from rooms no one is in, he's heard his name called while he was in bed, and last week he swears he was sitting doing reading for school and he felt someone poke him in the side of the ribs, though he was alone in the room and the house for that matter. He's been to talk to his priest casually about it, who told him that ghosts may try to appear as deceased family members in order to gain your trust, but that all ghosts who cause a disturbance are malevolent. The "good" ghosts are never heard from, apparently...

Myself, I have experienced someone turning on the light in my room while I was alone in the house, and must admit I don't feel alone even when I know I am. Many of our friends have commented that our basement gives them a feeling of unease and dread, though I used to live down there and, aside from my impossible-to-shake fear of the dark, I never experienced anything supernatural.

Wow, PS. Those are some pretty creepy events. Though I've heard of so many people finding knives built into walls or ceilings in their homes that I am starting to wonder if builders / people moving out of their houses are doing it as a joke.

I could probably deal with most of those occurrences, except for the stuff that happens at night in people's bedrooms. If I woke up and found someone sitting on the edge of my bed, I am sure I would **** my pants and die instantly of a heart attack.

Yah, but my house was built in 1904 and this cleaver is extremely rusty and blooded.

While reading this, the ceiling creaked. Scared the crap out of me.

Anderton: Where have you been? :D

a couple years ago i used to think my house was haunted. One night i woke up and saw someone standing beside my bed looking down at me. For some reason i thought it was my dad so i just said "what do you want?," then i rolled over and went back to sleep. About 10 minutes later i woke back up, looked over again, and whatever it was, was still standing in the same spot looking down at me. i sat up, and i swear i saw its eyes follow mine as i sat up. i threw my pillow at it and it disapeered. i sat there for a few seconds looking at the spot, then i just went back to sleep. Also there have been times where i left the room with the TV on, came back after a few minutes, and it was off. No one else in the house. Though i dont really believe in ghosts. the thing about the guy i figured was just a "night terror." people see things sometimes right after they wake up. And about the tv, i figure it just turns itself off, maybe im leaving it on too much so it heats up.

I know somethings can be explained like doors closing, creaking noises, but they're still freaky. A lot of times I wake up at night, everything is blurry and this gives the effect that someone is standing right next to me.

You all have very electricity wise ghosts. My mum would love a ghost that turned my TV off.

I'm quite undecided about ghosts. My old house was quite odd after my dad died in it, it always felt like I wasn't completely alone and sometimes out of nowhere it smelt like he was around (he was a painter so he always smelt like paint) but I don't know if this was a ghost thing or more me wishing it was him. I haven't experienced any of this in my new house.

That's something else I've heard of: strange smells. People often say they can smell their deceased loved ones if they're in the house they used to live in or something, and other people say they can smell sulfur. Sulfur seems to be quite prominant in places where there have been recordings of ghost account (compared to other smells).

And I used to think I couldn't have hated that smell any worse.......

OMG! I saw a ghost last night! :nervous:  *

*(but then I pressed the up directional button on my DS2 and it went away)

My house was built in the early 1930's, so it's quite old, well anyway, the previous owner of the house died in it, he was an electrician, so is my Dad, now and again the lights change intensity, and sometimes just completely wack out and the lightbulbs fall out when I turn the lights on, this is really freaky though, when I am asleep i swear I can see the face of an old man in my window, and when this happens the lights change intensity (Often dimming down a little bit) I hear my name being called in the night coming from my window. I'm scared :nervous:

Pfft... Some people, honestly

Just like when you saw an alien and refused to believe anything else, or thought Rockstar was putting subliminal images into their scenery?

Rockstar is quite blunt, I've found.
