rjensen11 2,732 Apr 27, 2003 #2 commercial DVD's. It cannot read avi's, mpegs, vcd's, or things made with residential burners(dvd or CD) because of the anti-piracy protection built in. I'd guess that with the proper chips, you can watch VCD's though....
