Is there any way possible i can make my EYE TOY work as an camera on my PC? When i plug it in the PC it says to install the hardware. Is there any hardware i can install to make this work?

I believe it has you confused. It is asking to install the software for that new hardware which happens to be your camera.

I don't know if there are any drivers for it - try searching Google.

Yeah it's possible. I'll translate some text passages for you. Let me see where the link is.

Here it is!

Load the driver from here: http://support.dlink.com/

chosse this driver:
D-Link DSB-C310 (Rev B1)

unzip the zip archive
search for OV519.inf
click right to open the attributes

disable the writeprotection
open OV519.inf with Wordpad or (Notepad)
go to edit / replace

search for:
VID_05A9&PID_8519
replace it with:
VID_054C&PID_0154
choose "replace all"

save it

now plug your eye toy camera in and choose the inf file you've just modified

Choose for pal 50Hz mode.

You can install the software included in the zip-file.
Don't change the screen resolution!

If you have problems running the driver try this:

Goto wordpad or to editor and chosse replace

VID_054C&PID_0154
replace with:
VID_054C&PID_0155
choose replace all

save it

now you've to install it again!

That's it :)

Hope it'll work fine

I downloaded it but i cant find the OV519.inf

I did some Google searching and came up with a few other options. Also looks like totallydrivers.com (or something similar) has official Sony drivers for the device in Windows.
