PS2 freezez at the end of race....

When I play Grand Turismo 3 a-spec and finish a race it shows time on the screen and then I press the X or the 0 and it feezez sometimes it freezez after the replay.

Please help, thank you.

actually, I borrowed the PS2 and dont know if it has a gameshark - how can I find out? and it wasnt freesing for first like 10 hours that I played now it freezes every ****

If it continues to freeze after the clean disk,  you might have a over heating issue.

Solutions:
* Vertical install of PS2
* Better venting (Is the PS2 barried in a cabinet)
* You live in Arizona... Move to a cooler place.

u r lucky it got fixed..hell if you treat your GT3 cd like crap and allow it to get scratches that can affect performance then u deserve what u get!! respect the best racing sim game of all time man!!!

hey X if for some reason it freeeeeezes again try buyin a dvd lense cleaner . i read some where that the ps2 was havin trubble with gt3 in japan cause the lazer was dirty... but only do that if you get ne more freeeeeeezes
