Man, that's almost too glossy. High gloss is so ghetto. Low gloss ftw.

You also have to remember that most PS3s will be in people's shelfs, not surrounded by tons of lights. It'll probably look normal when you put it on a shelf or stand or something.

Well, I hope these people don't own a HR20. So many damn bright-as-hell blue LEDs!

I'd pull for a straight up aluminum ps3. The kind that gets cold enough to adhere your balls upon on christmas morning.

I like it. I like Shiny.

Seriously though, I don't mind the "glossy" finish at all. Very beautiful, I thought.

I like the glossy finish. Black & stylish, like the PSP.

There's so much hole on the XBOX 360, it look like a box with filter on it. Figure why a lot of people modded their own 360.

That's not an actual working PS3 is it? It may just be a box with a light in it. I wonder because the pics I've seen of the PS3 so far do not seem that shiny. But I am expecting to see working PS3's at the TGS, well hopefully.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma Bound for PS3
Itagaki and Team Ninja bringing 'complete' Xbox game to PS3.
by Luke Smith, 09/20/2006

Ninja Gaiden. Ninja Gaiden Hurricane Pack. Ninja Gaiden Black. Now, Ninja Gaiden Sigma. Tomonobu Itagaki and Team Ninja will bring the excellent action title to Sony's PS3 according to reports in Famitsu.

Ninja Gaiden Sigma will be a "complete" version of the Xbox game, Ninja Gaiden Black, boasting a bunch of extras. Players will now be able to play as Rachel and see the game unfold from her perspective, according to Famitsu.

Is this the first sign that Ninja Gaiden 2 might be a multiplatform title, a timed exclusive or a platform-specific exclusive? If Ninja Gaiden 2 gets made (and we assume someday, it will) where will it show up?

I love gloss back..... the more mirror finish it is the better! My cars metallic black and ive just painted my computer case gloss black..... so it should all go well..... LOVE IT!

I think I will also put it on a slow rotating pedastal, light it up from every angle, in a glass box to filter the air it breathes and worship it everyday like the work of art that it is...

Hmm, I wonder if Nijna Gaidan will be ported to run in 1080p? I'm getting a 1080p HDTV in November, maybe 37in LCD. If its the Xbox version as a whole 1080p would be an easy port.

after the terrible rumors about paying for everything in GT HD i really hope that microtransactions are not the fuel this time for "sony bashing, sony is doomed" and reactions like that.

ok, its captalism, i know, but please, just be reasonable sony

SONY IS DOOMED, SONY IS DOOMED, DEATH TO SONY

Clearly that poll is null since GBA sells more units than X360.

Nope, not really. It's pretty much a port of Ninja Gaiden Black (or the Ninja Gaiden before that) from the Xbox to the PS3. If it was an actual exclusive sequel I may be inclined to agree with you, but, since it's not that, I don't agree.

Well, that makes sense. It's a new platoform. Why would you use up all the time a energy to develop an entirely new sequel when going to brand new hardware? Especially when you have a game that a lot of PS2 gamers haven't seen/played. I've never played Ninja Gaiden on the Xbox because I don't have one.

I think it's smart because it will get it out sooner rather then later. Besides, I want to see what team ninja can do with the PS3 hardware once they get a game or two under it's belt. :sly:

Here what I meant

Like I said, I never owned a XBOX. Though this is Square-Enix. I'm huge fan of squaresoft. Any RPG fan will have an eye on that game.

Yet another reason to buy a PS3 :)

Ninja Gaiden! Though I beleive it was rumored before this is a conformation.

I never tried Ninja Gaiden. Maybe I should give it a rent (it's in the compatibility list). I will give you my impression once tried.

Mr Deap, I'm curious about that Yahoo poll. Since the 360 shortages have been over for months, how come the archaic PS2 is still outselling it?

As for Lost Oddysey, I think it's just strange. And the thing which is most glaring about it is how you go from (being generous here) such engrossing ZOMG awesome full motion action where the hero is taking on several enemies with samurai-like finesse and speed, to the stale, static, rather lame turn based combat sequences full of long staring matches.

Some people will buy it, there's a market for eye candy no matter how odd it is.

Coz I'm an asian. Sony have to present more RPG. If they present the same games as E3, it's really not good. TGS06 isn't finish yet, also the poll was made 3 days ago. That's represent what Japan choose for today.

Okay, if you're going to buy a console, which would it be. The $130 PS2 with tons and tons of AAA games (with most of them being Greatest Hits so they're $20 each now), or the $400 Xbox 360 with not nearly as many excellent exclusives? The PS2 will still last another 2 years, and if the original Xbox is an indication, the X360 will last for 4.

360 has been out nearly a year. PS3 isnt even out yet. Every day a new title could be anounced. Its a given Ps3 will get waves of JRPGS and games geared to younger gamers.

The main problem is 2006 & 2007. Blue Dragon come by the end of 2006. A demo of Lost Odyssey will come up on XBOX live. Trusty Bell Chopin will come somewhere in 2007. Due that the games are already established & there's further more line-up not revealed. The PS3 cannot follow the speed of games launching on the XBOX 360. I will remind you that the titles will come out slow, due that the dev kit came really late. If software maker see a slow sell = switch system. still low launch game for PS3.

It is somehow scary...

Here a screen comparison of the PS3 vs XBOX for Ninja Gaiden.

Left PS3, right XBOX
