well, i really don´t you very well, but you are one of the top users (more than 10000 posts) in a GRAN TURISMO board...

so

why you don´t want to play GT5? what happened?
 
Maybe BlazinEx discovered Enthusia. ;) But you do have to wonder why someone who doesn't want anything to do with either the PS3 or Gran Turismo 5 wants to post here at all. "No, I don't like it, boo on all of it."

And yes, I want those games too. Resident Evil 4 was stupendous.

Oh, I have to say that I came across some news that Forza 2 was going to have a huge opening at the E3. i know that's no huge surprise or anything, but I'm looking forward to these two giants of racing coolness to clash, Forza 2 and GT5/Vision, and see how they differ. And how similar they are with the upgrade to full next gen awesomeness.
 
First off I liked GT3, GT4 was just weak, but I discovered this thing called Forza, which in my opinion was a better game. Sure it didn't look better but I enjoyed it quite a bit more. GT5 from what I've seen and read about hasn't got my intrest up enough to say I want a PS3. The only reason I bought a PS2 in the first place was to play GT3, I personally like my Xbox a lot more.

Mainly though I post on this forum now because I talk in the Cars in General section.
 
I would have to say i bet there will be more PS3 stock then expected to pre-order.
 
Well i'm deffinatly intrested in the ps3, seems its going to be alot cheaper then the 360:ouch: but that might be just rumours, anyways i learned my lesson from teh 360 althought i was lucky enough for argos to have some in somehow in early jan so i got mine:) by mid jan although i havnt played it in a while, but i might concider buying 3 ps3's for the prfoits and if it works out i'll have made my money back on my ps3 and got it for nothing:sly: lookks good, cant wait for GT5
 
So... knowing that the beefy PS3 is going to be $600, who's still in on the preorder club? ;)

Still nothing up on Game or Play.com in terms of pre-ordering PS3 in the UK, same has to be said about Argos.
 
I'm not going to bother...I'm going to cancel my reservation because I won't see a huge return on the thing.
 
Game called me yesterday to say that my pre-order is ok and that i am apparently 7th in line for a ps3 in my area! They are going to call me nearer to launch to let me know what games i can have in the package.

As for my part...

First of all, I am really really... REALLY dissapointed about the vibration going away because I found it useful in gun games.

To go right to the subject, I dont think I'm gonna buy it. First reason is the price, and I dont believe that paying that much will provide myself that worth of fun. Also, I'm not a rich guy with a big computer, big tv, all the games and all the ****... Just buying the PS2 poored me for like a year. So I cant really afford it anyway...
 
All UK people pre-order on either gamestation.co.uk or dvd.co.uk. And Earth I am glad i got my pre-order it so early, it looks like i should be able to score one easy come Nov.

Since I pre-ordered this early.
 
Well I havent pre-ordered yet, but my dad did today from out local gamestation. cant wait.

He is 17th on the list.
 
Apparently Sony has told EB Games, and Gamestop, as well as a few other retailers, that taking pre-orders would not be a good idea until around October...so who knows how it's looking around here.

I'd be careful about pre-ordering through just anyone. Make sure you have a history with the company, otherwise you could end up getting shafted.

I think i should be alright with my pre-order. I have a till recipt showing my bank card being debited for a ps3 reservation. And i got a bit of paper from them with my number on the clue and a signature from the guy sorting out the reservations. They have also called me recently so there will be records of them contacting me.

Fingers crossed anyway!

Oct would not be a good time to start pre-ordering, because all the late pre-order people will be rushing about trying to get a good pre-order spot.
 
Yeh my dad has got a recipt for the £20 he layed on the table for his pre-order, so if it all goes Pete Tong then we should get the cash back, plus they a repitable company.
