I chose Hard for my first playthrough and damn is it tense! I've already died 10+ times because of those horrifying Clickers. It's not really that frustrating IMO, just a bit of a challenge mostly.

Besides that, this game is already in my top 5. Combat is pulse-pounding and satisfying, environments look amazing, and the storytelling is just unbelievably stellar. You can tell Naughty Dog poured their heart and soul on this. 👍

The closest thing I can compare this game to is the films 28 Days Later and 28 Weeks Later. As soon as them runners get a move on you best be ready cause they're quick!

I can finally say this. "FU:censored:ING CLICKERS!!!" They kill you so damn easy!

I lost 6 hours due to the autosave glitch, finally finished the game 10 mins ago, what a stunning achievement ND !!

Combat is just so tense, stunning graphics, stunning voice acting, fantastic story.

Finally there is a game that I can appreciate on my sound system, sounds and being quiet are so important on this game, and the sound quality itself in this game is exemplary. Moving a file cabinet out of the way is ear bleedingly loud, as are gun shots, it makes you pray that nobody else is nearby.

One scene where I was in a room with several clickers in the pitch black, I was sneaking around very quietly and managed to avoid being heard, until Ellie frightenedly sprinted right past me and a clicker at full pace through a huge collection of broken glass and bottles, it actually made me scream out "WTF ARE YOU DOING!?!?", she might as well have started a fireworks display through the noise it created.

I've never had a game that pulls me into it's own world like TLoU has managed, it makes you care about dying if you're discovered or being chased. I've been doing this without the listening mode feature as well and so glad I did, simply relying on hearing where the enemies are.

I wouldn't say the game is perfect, but it's definitely worth a purchase for anyone thinking about it.

I remember that part. Scary as!

This is the first game to actually frighten me. My poor ticker is going mad playing this.

Something surprising?? :nervous:
I'm not saying :sly: It is funny though...

I love that for much of the game there is no soundtrack, just the environment. That really adds to the tension in a lot of the scenes. When there is music, it's understated and really quite beautiful.

There is a scene in one building where you split up with Ellie, at first there is calm and quiet but when you turn On power generator the Hell breaks loose.

I'm stuck on the part where
you clear the town out for Ellie and the other 2 guys to come down and then you have to jump on the sniper. I've never been able to snipe on any game. Just on normal difficulty I've failed this 7 times already!

Yeah, my copy was in the box this morning :D

Weather looking funny-english.

Perfect 👍

I'm starting out on my second playthrough on hard, learning to be a little more cautious and improving my skills in preparation for a survivor playthrough with a new game + on that difficulty too. I'm waiting until someone puts up a collectible guide/trophy guide before I go serious again. That's the problem with beating the game on launch day, no one has had time to post guides :P .

Also, I decided to jump into multiplayer for a bit and it's actually pretty fun !, especially survival mode which is like elimination in Uncharted. Except this time you have much less ammo, can craft equipment mid-match and it's only 4 vs 4. It's pretty cool how everyone is constantly sneaking around in the crouch position, flitting between cover :) .

Actually you are wrong about that, there are many collectible guides in the PS3trophies website.
The Last of Us Collectible Guide and Shiv Door locations

I completed the game on medium but! didnt get the game compeletion trophy? Maybe everything needs to be collected?

Bit early to be writing spoilers without any spoiler warning, don't you think? :irked:

Hardly a spoiler, you have no idea which split I'm talking about. There might be several. But OK you right 👍 I'm sorry for that.

For trophy hunters:

1st Play through on Hard to unlock Survivor
2nd Play through on Survivor to unlock Survivor +
3rd Play through on Survivor + to unlock Difficulty Trophies

After 13 hours and 18 minutes of playing The Last of Us, I'm 61 % through the story. So far I've enjoyed it beyond expectations. Game is defeinately longer than I was expecting too.

When you've completed the story mode we need to start talking about some online. Get a GTPlanet gang going. 👍 :D

Well, there's still Survial difficulty. :D
Don't usually bother with Naughty Dogs multiplayer additions to be honest.

Played uncharted 3 "Dodgeball". That was a laugh but will get old quick. Haven't even activated my network pass for this yet.

Im in for sure!

Im about 3-4 hours in my New Game+.

After completing game i was long way before upgrading all weapons. I was searching almost everything i could enter, completed game in 26 hours.

Would be nice to see some guide through that.

No i was playing on Normal, that was my first play through and after 26 hours i didn't had it every weapon upgraded. And i was scavenging i think pretty accurately. At least i thought i did. But i was surprised at the end. Maybe while you playing on + you get more those scavenging points.

Currently i;m on my second play through on Hard to Unlock Survivor and then ill play Survivor +

I thought you unlocked survivor just by completing the game. The guide thing said run through on Easy to collect as much as possible and then finish up on your second run through on Survivor

Ohhhhhh i missed that. It is unlocked. :grumpy: And now I'm 25% on Hard :guilty:

I'm about to enter the building where Tess is going to Die

I think ill start on Survivor now :yuck:
