PS3 Update ? how to download? and from where?

I just bought a PS3 , it says it wants to update to 1.60 , is there a place I can dowloaded it from? and is the US version the same as the PAL version update?

I know about that but what I meant is there a way to download it my oc first as it might be faster than from on the PS3 , as there is option to download form ma ss storage

which brings me to the 2nd question , do all regions have the same update?

I don't know for sure, but probably. The European PS site links back the the US site.
