And as I've said before, I love how the "power and numbers mean everything" people have suddenly changed their minds pretty damn fast.
Powers and numbers have never meant that much to me. Granted it's certainly a bonus.

I'm not I'll taken em down from both sides of the fanboy scale, it's the people in the middle that don't need any slack. I don't know if you were implying Code_kev was one of thoes people but I know he wasn't, it was mainly against CobraGT when he mentioned power and that was cos Cobra was saying the PS2 was more powerful all the time, not the games were more fun, thats a personal opinion.MavenAfter listening for years to Xbox fanboys guffaw about how much better 'their' machine was, I'm willing to give PS fanboys some slack.
Hopefully these aren't what the final products are because most of them don't seem to have superior gameplay.
code_kevSo why did you buy a PS2 then, the xbox is technically faster..
I think he was being sarcastic?code_kevI fail to understand how the asthetics of the machine matter. I could say that the PS2 looks like an 80's beta max player, but that didn't stop me buying one.
Same here live.live4speedOmnis was being sarcastic, that I'm pretty sure of. Reagrding which console has the better games, so far it's the XB360, GT5 I know too little aboutto start getting over exited about, MGS4 is the only PS3 game I'm really, really looking forward to at the moment. On the XB360 theres more than one or two games that I'd want to go out and buy, when more PS3 games and info on them is released I'm sure I'll be interested in more than 1, but this talk of the PS3's games have better gameplay is complete speculation, how the hell do any of us know, have we played any of thoes games yet, no. People have played XB360 games so we can find out what they're like to play, but how can we compare them to games that could well be over a year off and have no playable code released yet.
live4speedThe only racing game I play these days is GTR...
racing games and fighting games
I know a lot ofpeople prefer the triggers, but the pads overall I prefer using the DS2, I use the stick to turn, the stick on the XB pad isn't in a very good position for my hands so while I can accelerate and break fine I find turning is more clumsy with the XB pad than the DS2 which I can accelerate and break with well enough using the thumb stick.code_kevRacing games!!!! 2 words man, deep triggers. For this reason alone, the xbox pads will pwn ps2 pads in racing games. For fighting games though, the xbox pad is pretty duff.
Code, to make Black look like it does on current hardware is nothing short of amazing. Of course there are better looking games on better hardware, but that does not take away the fact that critereon must have some real ninja programmers (as proven with Burnout also)!!
