hi guys, sadly I've to report that my T500RS got broken :nervous: doesn't power up anymore and I don't know why, I wanted to test some laps last sunday but I had this horrible surprise back from Imola :( ... I tried everything but nothing.

Have a great season 0! I hope to resolve my problem in a while but my wheel is very old (2011) and I fear that I cannot recover it.

Regarding track day at Imola it was wonderful, one of the best days in my life (even when I went in the gravel at Rivazza :crazy:). I will do it again as soon as possible.
 
Just a remainder. Pit stop for race 2 is mandatory; then if you choose not to change tires or to start with 120liters of fuel to just change tires, or whatever startegy you want it's up to you :D

Check there is the blue light on the power supply. Mine did this after 3 months of ownership and it was a power supply. Unfortunately having yours since 2011 will mean you will need to buy another power supply, rather than warranty, but replacing the power supply sorted the issue for me.

The blue light should come on whether it is plugged into the wheel or not. Try changing the power lead to make sure it is not as simple as the fuse.

The blue light is working on the power supply so there is something wrong inside the wheel, I tried to open it but I'm not really a technician so I resolved nothing.

Slicks in rain? :scared: I'm pitting for sure! :lol: I tried mine on slicks and ended up being Ken Block for the day.. :dopey:
I'm defo going to run rain tyres in the 2nd race, my car / setup hates the rain :crazy:
 
And.....are we gonna have some rain or not , because here in Belgium it is bloody hot and sunny ?
 
I've not done any wet running. Last time I went to Spa it was 28 degrees and sunny all weekend lol.

I've actually never been to Spa and it rain weirdly.

I have no idea now xD

EDIT: The race start in an hour judging by the new room settings now, 60mins practice followed by 10mins qualifying.
 
Lost online cooooooooooooooooooooonnection while racing I think 4 lap it happen, he he first time .
Tried to rejoin but with no luck , sad ending for me Pffffffff:boggled:

Edit: Second race .....sorry Azidahaka was not motivated anymore to race see you next week .

Driver: SiTheBugski
Car: Aston Martin GT3

Race 1: Hmm.. Let's see :lol: got caught in 2 accidents, (1st) Lap 1 2nd corner not sure what exactly happened but seemed to have gotten hit somehow? Span out to the side of the grass, took some damage.. Continuing on (2nd) Lap 2 2nd corner, someone spun out just in front of me unfortunately had no where to go so I ended up joining in on the fun :rolleyes: massive damage to the alignment and suspension so had to pit in on lap 2. Starting lap 3 car was off the pace considerably only managing 21s/22s, however was able to catch up and over take someone, ended up finishing in 6th :gtpflag:


Race 2: Qualifying went smooth, as for the race.. car seemed to be handling way different from what it felt like in the qualifying (Not sure if its a bug or something:indiff:) Further down the race controls froze :banghead: any input from the controller seemed to have no effect what so ever, the only thing that was working was the PS button. Race ruined for me 🤬


I'm hoping for a patch to fix these bugs 👍

Not here yet. And there are few things they already promised for 1.4 in this patch... :odd:

Race 2 I was on inters for the 2nd half of the race (lap 13) and I didn't have overheating problems. I was even struggling as the track dampened by the end of the race and eventually had all 4 tyres blue in the last couple of laps.
It was probably a setup mistake and not a bug, I would say rain tyres were really needed around lap 20/21. Before that chances are overheating was due to the track being too dry. But you never really know with pCARS :D

It sucks that bugs are forcing us to shorten races, the main races were awesome, a lot of strategy/management going on, especially today with the changing weather. Hope 2.0 comes really quick !

@bajny mate want to team up with me so we can share setups, tips etc... track by track ? Nvidia-BMW racing, doesn't sound bad. :D

After talking with the drivers yesterday it was decidedd that since next week race 3 we'll run two 30 minutes races to avoid pit stop bugs.

This fix will come with the 2.0 patch .the way I do it for the moment is ,I set my BUMP STOP at 10/10front and 10/10 in the back while doing my qualifying .Than before the qualifying is done (1/2min) I go to my setup and pump it up to 30/30 front and 30/30 back ,now you will say .....what.....and I say ....nooooo panic , in fact while racing it stand at 10/10...10/10 and this you can see when you do a next session .
