When mechanical failures are set off, does it affect engine overheating failures ?

We are supposed to run eith mec failures on.. Did i set the room wrong at spa? If so shame on me for it gives enormous advantage to those that did run 100% closed, and it would be completely my fault. Be aware i'll doble check next time, hope we won't get an engine blowout-fest lol

Yup that is the way to sign in. I do not want to miss qualy laps to invite latecomers to the room lol and i do not want to guess who to keep an eye on when he signs up on psn...

Care to tell a bit about your racing experiences?
 
I've been racing in leagues since 2012. I started on Aarava's Formula Playstation and since then joined and subsequently now run Wheel2wheelracing which came 2nd in the Codies F1 2013 League on PS3 iirc. It's mostly been open wheel/F1 stuff though I've done a little GT racing on Assetto Corsa on PC.

Use a T300RS wheel, got an Elgato to capture races without having to rely on the replay feature as much. Also have a YouTube channel that focuses on racing content. Never been super fast but I've always been a clean driver.
 
Guys i ask perdound for being so absent by i had one gazillion RL issues lately, coupled with a flat battery in car, around 36°C at work and 30 in flat at night, GF that broke rear light on her car, no money and being busy selling anything i can do without, etc etc...

I'm tired and drained i haven't even run a lap on nurb... :( Looks very bad for the race.

Not to worry @azidahaka. I've been also busy alot with work recently, things have been chaotic. I haven't yet ran practice laps on Nurburgring GP or made a setup for the track.. So I'll be running a default setup for thursday night, but I doubt I'll be keeping pace using that. One shall see anyhow during the race :D

I posted weather. 100% dry both races. Tomorrow no training for me :/ GF day lol.. maybe a little bit before dinner if i'm lucky.

I think he can join up as reserve? The situation is a bit confused with some driver AWOL and many newcomers.. In any case there'a always free spots each week
 
Looks like I've got tomorrow to practice then, haha. What lap times are people doing around Nurburgring just out of curiosity?
 
I think between 1:57.500 and 1:58.500 in race is not bad , except for the aliens among us this will be definitely not fast .
 
I seem to be hovering around the 58 mark on most laps. I'm losing a lot of time at T1 though, that bump is locking the fronts and costing me a lot of time. The one lap I got it spot on I was around .7 faster in S1.

Braking for T7 seems to cause a lot of small lock ups too, resulting in understeer and missing the apex costing more time. Reckon I could get it into the 57s if I figure out a better way of going through those corners.

@ozwheels and other drivers, sorry about yesterday for not joining parties/setting up a training room but i was in a state of total panic/swearing/desperation due to the game choosing to delete my base setup for nurb gp, so i was rushing to get something driveable out O_o...

Was getting around in 2.01 now down to 1.58s, off pace but tolerable...

When real life messes up with you, then the game adds to it and mix with 30c in my flat you get a bad mix :D

A warning to the 2-3 newcomers and all drivers. Get online earlier, i do not want to lose one or 2 laps of my q session to invite latecomers to the room... >_>

And newcomers add me to friends, else no race for you guys. I'll be busy recovering a good setup, so do your small part and add me toi friends.

What a week! :D

@priesty_lfc wait for patch 2.0 you might get lucky with it
