I can tune reasonably well, and I'm about the same pace as you. And I'm far from bad.
I guess your front left dies in few laps too? :P It's really troubling, might have to consider medium tires even...

I have problems setting differential acc lock/normal tuning. if i get a tune that is more or less ok in those situations i usually end up with a car that misbehaves in others...

Today have been busy curing this >_>

I've got a 1.24.7 (just once) and getting around in mid 25s... Might have to work with rear ARB...

Make your rear slow rebound softer so you keep weight on the inside rear for longer and maybe move the brake bias forward a little.

I forgot to post this after Bugatti race.

Myself and Skaanky racing hard for 20 laps. I only have the last 15mins of recorded play.
I have fast forwarded it for your convenience. Its interesting to watch were each car has its strengths and weaknesses also some different line's we both take even on this narrow track.

Awesome! I remember that battle well. It was like a game of chess, I had to position my car precisely in order to cover the line and get a good exit. My moves to break the slipstream look like I'm losing control, but I was just trying to minimise any advantage you got from it! I was pumped at the end of the race and watching back that replay my heart was going! Cracking stuff mate 👍

@azidahaka
In a 10 corner track if you lose .300s on each corner you will be 3s back by the end of the lap, and if it´s a corner before a long straight you can lose even more if you mess up your exit.
I could lose that on parabolica when I mess up my braking point, usualy braking to late, it makes you lose a lot of speed to be able to rotate the car and get on the power again.
Usualy people focus to much on braking as late as possible and compromise their corner speed and accelaration point.
Don´t get me wrong, branking as late as possible is good BUT only if you can still hit the corner´s apex and accelarate right after you hit the apex.
Take ascari for exemple, i try to be on the throtle even before I hit the apex of the first left and maintaind full power through out the next right and left to maximise my straight speed.

BTW do your car uses more front or rear tires?

I just saw your video, and on parabolica you brake too soon, you lose too much speed and you did´t use all of the track exiting the corner.
On the first chicane you approach the first corner too much to the right and too soon that make you get a bad angle for the second corner, making you losse speed and conpromise your accelaration point
Now this is what im talking about. This puts things in prospective. As far as my tires go, Ive been wearing pretty even. Maybe alittle more on the front but thats expected.

What is a decent alien lap?

Early days yet, but I would think a low 1:22 would be fairly possible.

Edit, I found the quali times from Stalliono's series. Make that a 1:20!

I imagine I'll be around a 2:10 then. I'm terrible at Brands Hatch. Can I go all Ferrari and veto it?

The race was wet, I think quali was dry. I need to find some pace, as my Aston seemed pretty rapid around there. Work to do on the Audi for sure.

I'm lucky to get a 1 : 29 at the minute help with Audi set up please

Qualy was defo wet. I finished 2nd in Q with a 1.29.
That was stalliono's series in a nutshell, different rules and conditions in every tier and session xD.

Just out of interest, why are people practicing in the wet when it's going to be a dry race?

We're talking about a race from an old series.

A 1:20!!!! O LORD. Lots of work to do. Has there been any changes with updates that could have an effect on those times? Those times were put up many batches ago!

By the way, I saw SKYJUICE had a question answered on Inside Sim Racing's live show today. Ive been really enjoying there show on Wednesday's!

No, 1.20 was laguna seca I think. Papa Skanks was mistaken. High 21's seem to be the times to beat.

@Simfan David i don't think the updates have slowed the cars down any, as back then i was 22.2 @ BRANDS GP
but the other week just in a random race i got a 21.8 so if worked on could be mid 21s, i would say its just improvement with time on the game/sim.

One thing i do think has changed tho is times in TT compared to online, online seems a little faster now. Had a few people saying the same.

10-4. Thank you brother!! :gtpflag:

I've done a 1:24.6 with little practice at Brands, and the aliens are usually about 3 seconds faster than me, so it points to a 1:21 something, as @Zakspeed_TV says. 👍
