I was out for my 40th last night, so am rough as 10 bears and have left planning a little late, but the lists are there and there is not much more to do other than invite you guys and host a room. I think my brain can just process that. Everyone has been about for 7 rounds now, so hopefully everyone if familiar with things by now.

Sorry to anyone that was affected by my appearent lag problems....As i said on PSN my connection was fine up and down, but for some reason the ping was high in game.

Remember, before anyone complains, i feel bad for spoiling other people's races, as well as being very dissapointed for myself for being disconnected after getting pole, and while in 1st place with a 7+ second lead......And having wasted time practicing for 3 hours during the week.

Having lag is not intentional or done on purpose by anyone, so before people start uploading videos of people lagging, use your head and think....

Fun to follow for one time a stream race done by Riggy .
At the end off the second race it was hot for third place Riggy with Mckiernan behind you .
Must also say that it was a clean start in race two from you guy's well done .

Had such a good pace in the 2nd race but got caught by McGerty's lag ghost on the straight which made me fly up in the air and absolutely trash my car when I landed. Car was messed up big time so I spun in the following corner, hit the barrier, flew out in the traffic and got hit by someone, sorry about that!
Had to limp back to the pits and repair the car.

Came out 10th and did 1.23'1 laps straight away and caught everyone in front fast.
Actually did better lap times later on in the race than I did in the qualy and for once I think I could have finished 2nd.
51 secs behind Ramsay despite, crash, spin, crash and pit stop.
Absolutely hammered that throttle the entire race.

Aaargh that is annoying!

What lap times did you do in the 2nd race @killerramsay?

Edit: Had to check, the pit stop took 33 seconds...

Brilliant racing tonight. Didn't think I would race but I managed to make it to the second race and it was well worth the pudle of sweet in my chair. Last time out I was left thinking I could have done better, this time I couldn't have done better and the fantastic door to door racing with @McKiernan put the cherry on top.

I was sorry for you and the other guys who had connection problems or glitches, I think we all know it's not intentional & it must be a pain in the arse for you to. You had great pace in room two so can imagine the frustration.

It was a great nights racing overall though, personally I had the best race ever in race two, the first 10 laps or so were hectic, bumper to bumper with the leader and swapping positions all the while Karsten ( @azidahaka ) was quickly gaining on us. Typically I brain farted multiple times and ended up not quite able to get the last spot on the podium.

On my screen there was no lag, we actually thought it was someone else in the group who was lagging. After the wreck we saw them glitching on screen. Each race I was head to head for 20 laps with @DropBuckets and the next race @Gavin Vickers. At no time in the head to head battle did they say I was lagging and if I was we wouldn't have been able to battle.

Sorry that happened, would never try to mess anyone's race up.

Here's the incident with McGerty in race 2 where his ghost damaged my car a little bit, I then spun and hit someone which made my wheel point in the wrong direction. So sorry whoever I hit, was just a passenger i'm afraid.

No-one said PSN was perfect. Your ping was over 400, your lag was all on your connection and it was perfectly fine for everyone else. PSN had nothing to do with it, especially considering Project CARS on PS4 uses P2P connection for online races so all the leg work is being done by the host and client ISP's, not Sony. Most cases on that site are down to the users internet/stupidity anyway due to it mainly being for log in issues.

Give your modem and router a restart, make sure no torrents etc are running and do a speed test, that should resolve your ping issues. Failing that, it's probably your ISP/location/cable quality.

Not your fault football, but idk if anyone took the time to pause the video the exact time the impact occurred, but I did and from what I saw was a blur of an audi, then football came strolling by, so football wasn't the one that lagged, was a blurred out audi, from what I saw atleast when I paused the video lol

Actually I got rammed by an orange Mclaren and an audi I reanalyzed the video , if you look further up in positions, you see skanky and mcgerty dissappear and apperantly reappeared under my car? Lol

I wasn't that fast but my tire consumption would have allowed me to race other 15 minutes so i played it safe and worked over other driver's mistakes...

I was sorry for you, but relieved for all the other drivers mate... I was closing on you at a point, but then i had to slow down until i was between 3-5 seconds... I'll post a vid to show how mightly impressive it was

As others said, restart router, make sure you have no other pc on, no cellphones or tablets connected to wi-fi and all of them even if being idle for devices when connected to internet even if idle may get updates or do their own things

Lastly ask them to switch your connection to "FAST"... I had to pay an extra here for that, but i have improved my internet gaming quite a bit

Yeah room 2 was mostly clean. Surprisingly for such a "bad call" for close-racing circuit in a game where there's lag and VEEEEELCRO

Yeah it was really good, i was trying to close in without making a mistake that could cost me a good third...

Also the last laps were something after passing you after your spin, then when lapping sky and brando i got rammed to the wall on final straight and had damages so i had to defend from you first and then from a distance from @Riggy ... I was really concerned about both of you because i got some severe aero damages there and the car was pulling all torward one side >_> and it was noticeably slower too.

I guess i was lucky in the end since my tires were ok and you guys behind made some mistakes... When kiernan spun on turn 2 behind me i was about to let him pass because car had no more pace after the crash

I guess i used up my luck for the remaining of the season Later on today some videos!
