Sorry for the hit(s) Buybon and congratulations to a great win!
Oh, I agree..It is too high!!View attachment 642317
Sorry for jump start - see you next week
Btw disqualification is way too high a punishment for this!!!
AI will never be Mistaken for polite!!!!!Thanks flaco. Looking at the replay I may have turned in on you, but I didn't know you were there, or expect you to be there. You kept me honest the whole way. Back markers could have been a bit more polite!

Congratulations to Buybon on a fine win and Flaco on second place. Commiserations to SimbaLora on a disqualification for jumping the start.
At the moment with its unrealistic "Christmas Tree" (drag racing) style light countdown there is a temptation to anticipate the start - I must admit I anticipated the start this week after waiting for the green light last week caused an accident on the startline. This urgently needs to change in this game - the correct system is for the red light to go out after a random interval of between 1 and 3 seconds - which prevents anticipation and consequent accidents / jumped starts. It also seemed very unfair that Simba was disqualified when in real life he would have had a drive through penalty. I think both these things should be raised with @IanBell of SMS. for correction in Project Cars 2.
I really enjoyed the round - there were only a relatively small number of human opponents, but I had a good battle with Skip until his wheel worked loose and I thoroughly enjoyed lapping some of the AI opponents during the last few minutes of the race - being able to add AI drivers to an otherwise sparse grid is an excellent feature of this game.
Next Round 3 Sonoma Raceway GP - Note we have spaces for clean drivers!
Sick the table isn't showing the results from Silverstone when rich won.
Sick, have you considered going to a rolling start...Perhaps that will work better??
Silverstone was the Round 0 (test round) so doesn't count towards the championship.
I thought Silverstone was round 1, test round was at brands which I missed. Where are the round 1 points from on your table then?
Watched more footage of Sonoma - what an awesome track! I'll need to get on for some practice before our race to learn the circuit. This is where the driving line option would be handy.
Great work, John!! Thanks!

Rolling starts aren't really a feature of European racing unless the series is American derived so if possible I want to avoid them, but I will do some testing with them. If we switch to rolling starts I will give some notice so you can practise.
True, enough..And the rolling start in pcars still uses the virtual lights...So this might not help the situation??
Simba posted this after the race at Silverstone
Track was in GT4, when it was a different name. I was doing some practice, thought looked familiar.
Whats the al set again Sick?
