PSA: Deleting and reinstalling GT7 deletes your custom races for good.

Heads up. Had to delete and reinstall GT7 (on PS5) because the last update corrupted my install and now my custom races are gone.

Bummer.

Yeah tis a bummer.

Those are saved on your actual Playstation console save, learned that the hard way myself once before when had to do space saving measures.

Wouild be nice if we got some info to say what is on the local save so people knew what will be downloaded from PD's servers.

Wasn’t a sticky or anything, but this was discussed in the Custom Race thread last year. When I was on PS4, the game would stick and I’d have to delete the game and reinstall. Hence, having to recreate my races. Other members had filing issues and had to delete some files for storage. Their Custom Races being deleted when reinstalling as well.

Has anyone brought this to PD's attention? I created a lot of custom races and would definitely suck to lose them all if I ever have to reinstall the game for some reason.

I don't think think it would be a complicated fix or something that they can address in a future update.
