I think its a good idea if we group all of our entries into groups of three, so people vote for the best three rather than the best individual. Makes sense to me

Maybe that is a good idea, but would you like to post a list of who made what car and then tally the votes for each car, add the ones by the same user and then compare to find the winner? If so, you can make the polls from now on, if not, then shut up.

If every writes their names on their pictures then you would just have to look down the line and see who has the biggest number of votes! Easy

but that may influence the votes due to biases of the voters. you see, it's simply not possible to perform this "simple" task.

It is possible to perform this simple task, otherwise it wouldn't be simple now would it (?) I don't think that people's votes would be effected by who made the pics.

It would be just a simple case of whenever somebody submits their three images, then you just take those three images and put it in one poll option.

What's harder then that?

Oh and Jpec, if you get pissed at me you have severe problems.

I wasn't pissed, I just underestimated the negative connotation of "shut up". The point is thatin order for this kind of thing to be done, it involves a crapload of work (which I'm not willing to put in). Should anyone else want to step up and help then please, PM me...

BS! It takes NO extra work for you to do, it only takes a little extra work for all of the entrants that's all. Please list how it will give you a 'crapload of work'.

Ok, here's my list of steps (won't influence the votes at all):

1. Create a codumentation of who entered what
2. Create the poll and wait for it to finish
3. Count the votes for each car and tally them on the documentation of who made what car.
4. Add up the tallies to determine winner.

Now that I spell it out it seems alot simpler, however, I know in the back of my mind that the documentation and the poll will take time (5-15 minutes for the poll, and an additional 5 for the documentation). If someone were willing to make the documentation then the work would be just about cut in half. Also, users putting their names on the chops does influence the voting (I know this from personal experience) so that is out of the picture. Now you see where I'm coming from?
