If you look at it closely, you can see a lot of rectangle-type shapes. This indicates that the computer is being lazy (mainly because you told it too), and that it's not using as many colors. What's frustrating is trying to work with a low-quality image when you have a high-quality part that you want to use, it's almost impossible to get them to match (without saving the part as a low-quality GIF)...
 
Why do I suck at photochopping?

Note: This was done out of boredom more than anything.

Note to PunkRock: Don't include this in the poll...

Are you talking about mine? I'm doing a proper one now anyway. It was midnight and couldn't be bothered doing anything decent then.

I'm gonna redo mine from scratch... I'm not satisfied. :irked:
 
jpec why u being so cocky, i personally deaps is better than yours, but the voting will tell, when i post my cars i just post em, i dont say o mine might be better than his, well anyway im startin on this one now

I am inclined to agree with you viperman.

Jpec you always think your chop is good but the fact is the idea is brilliant but your skills don't match. Sorry to say this but it looks sloppy. It looks like it was done in a poor program such as Ulead Photo Impact :lol:

I believe on more occasions than none Deaps' work is extremely clean and more real. The thing about photoshopping is trying to make it look real not photoshopped. I have nothing against you but I think that Deap on this occasion and many more have done a very good job - he unfortunately doesn't get the credit he sometimes deserves.

I don't participate in these competitions as much as I should because the fact is people like to vote for themselves with numorous GTP accounts - it's outrages!

Sometimes the best chop doesn't even get on the podium.

Epic the left hand side of your front bumper needs to be pulled down a bit.

Is this really going on?! I find that absolutely outrageous! Therefore, I'll be checking the votes and the IP addresses in this months POLL. If I find anyone voting for themselves with GTP accounts besides their own, their entry will be disqualified and a first offense will be issued. (Which means you'll be a step closer to being banned from the site.)

I agree with ALPHA. Cleaness is everything. A nice and simple, yet clean chop, in my opinion, is better than a seriously riced-out pixelated 'thing'.

indeed it is, just another little reason why I'm redoing it.

I hate ppl who vote for their own chops, I think some people are just sore losers :rolleyes:
 
YOu guys are being way too hard on me. I was proud of my work, in my eyes it actually looks better than Mr. Deap's (although he does have a good chop, I like mine alot better). And why do you say that my chops look like crap? I don't see you doing any high-quality life-like chops. Please don't slam "cockiness." We all have a right to express our opinions, I was simply saying that I think my chop was so well done that it might beat Mr. Deap's in the polls (Not saying probably, or will, I'm just saying I think it might). I actually said "I think I outdun the Deap!" If I had said "I outdun the Deap, In Your Face!!" that would be cocky. Besides, people who are calling other people names are stepping over their boundaries. If you didn't like my chop, you can just say "Jpec, I don't really like that chop, maybe if you did this it would look better..." I know I would not be angered by something of this kind, and that maybe I can make a better chop and be up to your "calibur" of photochopping. And what makes you say that my chops look like they're done in a "poor program?" I worked hard on that car, and to say it looks bad makes me feel like I just wasted alot of time. So in conclusion, please don't call other people, and express your opinions Constructively please. Thank You :)
 
mine are "life-like" but someone always has to go and say I pasted another picture over it. (although in photochopping you take other parts and paste them over the original). sometimes people cant face the fact they got pwned!

but as far as jpecs and deaps chop goes, i think jpec did a better job. mr.deaps was a simple clean job, but jpecs actually looks better (except for that damn carbon fiber..and maybe the tail is a lil to big...and maybe the tints are to dark).

funny how people are bringing up past chops..iono, maybe a mod should move this to the movies section. sounds like back to the future

Actually, I made the chop pretty ugly. If I remove the wheel & just let the original color, the car would look better. Actually, it wasn't a serious chop. Anyway, I was just showing the fact that you guys aren't anymore in my calibre & I will stop chopping at GTP, that's all...

Jpec: I think your taking this a little to seriously. Your going a little overboard IMO (i dont mean the chop). Your starting to sound like a sore loser.

Mr. Deap: I like yours and all but I still wouldnt vote on it.

Actually, though I cant do a better job, I think they are both bad.

Frustrated Palm: Shut up before someone hears you..........:odd: :p. But really you guys, stop fighting over it. This is supposed to be a friendly comp (at least I think so). I know you two can do better chops...

I don't do that very often any more. Most of the stuff you see in my chops is hand rendered from scratch.

I wouldnt consider PSJ a higher calibre.. they just have more people. But in the end if you narrow down the good chops from the go killyourself ones, its about even. Photo-Chop on the other hand is kinda dead? PSJ use to be all cool in the beginnin but now I rarely see a thread here for their comps. I like GTP better anyway. But until any of us get a better voting system, the winners will always be questionable. :D thank you, thank you.

ps. mr.deap, please dont leave, youre my inspiration!
 
its a god damn photoshop competion not a compeition on who is cocky and who is not!!
