Ummm. Not sure what version of PS you are using.

But I'm using PS CS, so I'll tell you how I did it assuming PS7 has the same options.

1. I went to Image > Adjustments > Match Color.
--Moved the Luminance to the right all the way.
--Moved Color Intensity to the left until I thought was good.

2. I went to Image > Adjustments > Selective Color.
--Selected Neutrals in the color drop down box.
--Moved the Black slider til I found something good.
--Selected Black in the color drop down box.
--Moved the Black slider til I found something good.

3. I went to Image > Adjustments > Curves.
--Just messed around with that one for a while.

That's about it. Selective color also works good if you want to make the color of your car better quality sometimes. I know a lot of people use the Hue & Saturation and it can sometimes leave some ugly marks. Usually Selective color will make it look better. Adds more tone to the paint job I guess you could say.

Anyway, hope that helps.

Well guys, and gals. Here's my near final entry. I just need approval from a few of you before I finalize it. I took the cowl idea into consideration and shoved one on. Tell me if you think I should lose anything or change anything on the car(I'm edging towards removing the cowl, tell me if you feel the same way). Thanks.

I think you should fix the little vent thing on the front bumper that the racing stripe is covering. Other than that, 👍

Thanks for the comments guys. I just have to figure out what things I should change and I will post my final entry. Thanks again.

Cano

I'll start on mine tonite (:

Is that a good thing or a bad thing? Cause, I worked just shy of 16 hours on it.

I saved it at Low 13 JPG in adobe, thats probably why. except for the rims, the rims were just crappy quality to begin with

almost done mine, fitted some do-luck rims but not sure if they look right. not sure about colour yet though and not sure whether to change the background.
might do a drift version if i have time....

Finally finished. Ripped off the cowl and added a nice hemicuda intake. Fixed up some minor errors.

FINAL ENTRY

Well, the entire front end has been altered to mimic the stylings of the skyline slightly, as well as the headlights (which weren't done very well). The color also matches that of the original, but overall, he chopped the Ford Buggy concept into a skyline-mimic, not the skyline into the Ford Buggy mimic (try doing it the second way next time).

Yeah, 2f2f, you should read my Beginner's Guide to Photochopping as I think it would greatly help your chopping career and help you to understand the basic principal of the chop. You have some of the basics of photoshop down, which is good seeing as how we won't have to tell you how to select parts that you want to copy. You also have a good sense of perception. However, you lack experience, and that is vital in photochopping.

Obviously you're one to talk, right? Because you've won so many contests around here, right? Just stop with the cockyness, you're making an ass out of yourself.

2F2F, that isn't like what I'm used to see from you. Looks like you're not done with it, so I'll leave you the benefit of the doubt.

hmm alot of intense heat here lately :odd: ohh well my chop is done soon ..im having a major project going on for this one:p

PR, just because I haven't been around lately doesn't mean that I've somehow become any less of a photochopper. Sure, I might be a little rusty, but if I had serious motivation to do so I could whip out a kick-butt chop. You've even admitted that I'm one of the better choppers on these forums (granted that was a long time ago but I haven't lost much). I'm not being cocky, I'm simply telling 2f2f why I don't like his chop and what he can do to improve his style. So what if I wasn't entirely right, I'm only trying to help, and you can't yell at me for doing a thing like that. :irked:

Also, I haven't been even in these threads for the longest time and I don't know the people. 2f2f, I'm sorry if I offended you in any way. I saw a new name with a forum-provided avatar and I thought "this guy's a n00b, I mean, look at that chop!". Again, sorry if I offended, but yeah, that is not a very good chop.

That was...interesting. Glacius, hurry up and post your entry so we can se what's going to be raping us this week. Just give it to us nice and swift.

hehe alll i can say about my chop is this

Something seems very gimped with the front tire. Also, something about the length of the car is odd. What do you guys think of mine? (Bottom of page 4)

the perspective is wrong on that last one.. otherwise not too bad.

glac---a hovercraft (the real ones that go on water & land).. ?
