This weekend is reminding me so much of GT Academy. So much effort put into this and I'm still running the same times. Salt in the wound is that the DC bug struck me today, just to let me know it's still there.

I think I'll miss D1 this race. Not because of mishap but lack of speed. Even if I done a high 48 I set myself a realistic qual target of sub 49.5xx, ie slower than everyone that qualed so far.
 
Sorry but I don't think I will be able to make tomorrows race. Will be back next week though.

Im feeling the same like Johan this week , we will see anyway , ill qualy later .
 
As things are going now, looks like a 49 flat will be the end of D1.
 
I think im getting tired of practicing and trying new setups. My best is a 49.2 and I cant improve.

Is someone willing to give me a setup to try? Everything I try just makes it worse.

My setup (Lexus has got understeer so I try to change that and become oversteer...maybe that makes my Lexus unstable.) I think, but is the way to run fast!
 
As a steward that watched him, I guarantee it was unstable like Ayrton's Mclaren at Spa in the 90' (I'll look it up exactly)... he was manhandling that car all the way 👍
or, should I say ayrtoning the car? Owning in any way :cool:
 
I heard Tim talking about burning up the rears too, I'll have to play with the car more I guess.
In any case a 48.4 is awesome, great job Anthony. 👍
 
I am burning the rears too in the SC, has been like that in every single race regardless of setup, and I have tried a few now. Perhaps it is a matter of driving style.

same here, it's been melting the rears all season. 2.08 and 2.09

Could be. I do know that the Z has it the worst.
