I just realised both Den and Will have identical times

I noticed that the qualifying sheet 'sorted' them alphabetically?, but maybe it should be based in who qualified 1st? Could be pretty important in the next 22 hours!!

EDIT - Stupid Phone! :)

In previous series, it was the driver who submitted their time first, who would be placed ahead.

Edit : I can't remember in which series this point was raised. It was either GATE or WSGTC3.

it looks like I'm joining tomorrow in the bandai sc430. Is anyone online today I could practice with and does anyone have a good base tune with right gearing for Laguna? Not being lazy but only found out I could race tomorrow just now!

Thanks

Maybe i should change my time to .431 to fix this, right?

I will not involve myself in how to separate two identical times since I'm involved..
But a HUGE "LOL" to sort it by who qualified first.

This seems reasonable to me.

Another way of doing it would be who had the best second fast lap.

GV27:

lap1: 1:21.567 clean
lap2: 1:21.249 clean (see below)

this is about as close as it gets while staying clean.

If I remember correctly from WSGTC3, it was decided to place the driver who qualified first, ahead, to encourage drivers to qualify early.
I really don't mind how it is decided though.

Fastest second lap is actually very reasonable.

I would have suggested who went before, since it means theoretically less practice time, etc. without forgetting the fact this is how real series do it. But second lap sounds more fair to me. 👍

Honestly, i dont remember of my 2nd fastest and i'm not sure if i saved the replay.

And since i'm involved to the tie, i'll say the same thing as Dennis: "I will not involve myself in how to separate two identical times"

Quick question guys... white line is considered "track" when it comes to "two wheels" rule?

According to last week, white line is track.
I have a noob question regarding the 2-wheels-on-tarmac rule: Does that include the white lines? They are painted, but still tarmac beneath.

And yeah that's assumed. White painted lines are still considered tarmac. So if it comes down to it and you have nothing but the edge of two tires on the white line alone, it's clean - tennis/football rules.

I vaguely remembered something about it, but couldn't quite find it. Thanks! 👍

But... yay  I was "distracted" after my last corner, and went a bit too wide. My two left tyres on the white line. Yikes!

you're clean ... see above

Think i got:

1st lap 1:22.3 something
2nd lap 1.21.803

If the stewardes that watched it could confirm?

Cheers Kev

I swear not to go THAT close again in my life! . Worst thing is that it was not on purpose. I only realised when I was already there. And I thought "What if my lap's invalid because of something where I would not gain time?". Lucky me, for once.

Thanks for stewarding me! 👍

Good job! Laguna is not friendly to me so don't expect me to do too well.

NASCAR sorts qualifying times by points? I'll be honest and say I never knew that.
