New policy is that if a driver sets a qualifying time and is not sure whether they, we will wait up to 2 hours before the race start for the driver to say whether they will make the race or not. If the driver does not check in we will assume he can not make it and sort the grids appropriately.
This gives us 1 hour before Connect time to sort the 2 rooms.
The driver's qualifying time will be erased and he'll be put at the back in D2 if there's space. If not, he can't race.
And anyone who had a time lower than the driver who dropped out will move up the grid/s accordingly.
1st driver outside D2 take D2:16.
No room switching after the 2 hour prior to racestart deadline is reached.
MÜLE_9242;7730627If it wasn't for the fact that I'd have to get a completely different wheel, I'd be looking at getting a cheap Xbox right now.
Gotta try rebooting your 'net then.
MÜLE_9242;7730693Tried it, but it hasn't fixed my first problem, of everything in GT5 taking forever to load.

sounds like time for a re-install.
I have a noob question regarding the 2-wheels-on-tarmac rule: Does that include the white lines? They are painted, but still tarmac beneath.
Anyway I love this new rule. No more clinging to the outer edge of the curbs. Much more realistic. 👍

And yeah that's assumed. White painted lines are still considered tarmac. So if it comes down to it and you have nothing but the edge of two tires on the white line alone, it's clean - tennis/football rules.

I think I'm having the same problem as Mule. I just launched GT5 and it can't connect to the servers.
