12 sec. My old hair cutter lived next to a guy that had 2, yes 2, Yugos.

Figure that one out... ;)

The ugliest automobile I've seen in all my life.

I thought it was just the FX45, but evidently they sell it with the (kick ass) 3.5-litre engine, too.

Weirder than the vehicle itself was the fact that it had Arizona temp plates and ski racks. He must've gotten the ski racks the day he got the car, then immediately hustled up here.

What about those cars parked there. They are mooning it. :)

I was so stunned to see a driveable Yugo that I didn't know what to think.

Don't people wash their cars in Illinois?

That FX35 looks like it rolled off a mountain, only without the dents and explosions and blood and dead people and such...

Well?!

Well we had snow recently and snow makes cars really dirty for some reason. Plus, that FX35 originated in Arizona... and the Yugo's clean.

EDIT: And although I didn't take a picture of it, yesterday I saw a real Integra Type-R in yellow with 'Dealer Demo' plates. It nearly converted me into a Honda lover. Nearly. And it was clean.

I agree; it's like the Z3 Coupe inflated to about 28psi. Nissan was really trying too hard with this one. At least they didn't "try as hard" ad Hyundai did at the last Detriot show.

At least Hyundai didn't actually build that ugly SUV concept thing.

I dont know if its the fact that (I thought) the FX45 has a 320hp V8 under the hood, or if it might be a contender for the worlds fastest SUV. But I think it looks so awesome. Its one of the only SUV's I'd ever buy.

I really think it is going to be the way the cars of the future will look.

I remember when I was in elementary school (more than 20 years ago), in the school library there was a short series of books on "Future ..." this or that. Something on future homes, future cars, etc. The one on cars had pickup trucks that looked -- no joke -- like this:
RAMPIC66.jpg

The FX45 is a well-handling SUV/SAV/over-stuffed-shooting-brake. It's far from the fastest SUV, though. For that honor, it has to wait in line behind the ML55, Overfinch Range Rover, X5 4.6is, and all sorts of Cayenne's. And don't get me started on its looks. For comparison, I didn't like the "Future Cars" pickup, and I don't like the way they came to be.

I don't like the 'future cars' pickup either, but I can't say I'm not fond of how pickups have come to be. The Silverado is wonderful. If car makers stopped worrying about how the future would look and concentrated on re-designing current cars to fit social standards, I'd be much happier.

The FX35 is nothing special, but the FX45 is incredible. Considering that the ML55 was deleted from the product line this year, the FX45 is inching up there. I'm honestly surprised to say that I would put looks aside and purchase an FX45 if I was shopping in the segment, since it's the ugliest vehicle I've seen in all my life. 340 horses!

EDIT: 315 HORSES?! RIPOFF! Doesn't the Q45 posess the same engine and put out the full 340?

Reviving the thread from the dead is the Audi RS6 (above, obviously). The US will receive only 400 RS6s, each of which were sold out long before the shipment. They start slightly under $90,000 and are, indeed, cooler than you. Below is more than likely something that only MazKid will realise the rarity of; I didn't even give it a second look until later I realised it had Ontario plates, and MazKid knows what that means...

Precidia!! It's basically a MX-3. Also known as the Familia Presso, Eunos 30X, and Autozam AZ-3.

But it's basically a MX-3.

Yep - hence no picture of the whole vehicle. Seeing cars that are Canada-only are rare since Canada has very few holdouts so I thought that was fairly impressive.
