Modern Lexus models weren't that good looking to begin with and that guy made one look absolutely worse.

Questionable? Sure, but I'd drive that Lincoln all day long with some more appropriate wheels on it.

It breaks my heart a bit to put it in here, but I finally got pictures of my old boss's Tuscanmera after it's come here to sort out some shock horror, mechanical issues.

Not awful, just wholly unnecessary.

I actually can't bear looking at that chrome orange for more than a few seconds. It hurts my eyes :yuck:

And this is an Audi.

Just no... the General Lee paint scheme does not work on hot hatches.

Thought it was a Buick Century when I first saw it.

I just found this Chevrolet V8-swapped 1970 Lamborghini Espada on Hemmings and I knew I had to post this on here. It breaks my heart deeply that somebody with no taste whatsoever took this beautiful, timeless Italian classic and made it into this... monstrosity.

It's just a hood. Take it off and put a less stupid carb on it and you have the best of both worlds, in that you can drive around in your classic Lamborgini and drive around in your classic Lamborghini. I suspect if it hadn't had the blown-engine-ectomy that it would have rotted to the ground in a field long ago.

Reminds me a lot of this:

Guy finds a genuine Ferrari shell, puts in a Chevy engine after finding the original V12 is deemed next to impossible, and stupid expensive for a direct replacement. Yet people are still upset that he'd rather put in a 'blasphemous' V8 and enjoy his car than let it sit as a rolling chassis in a barn.

Some people would consider this an "odd modification." But...I think it's more questionable. This is actually the one I've seen around in Maine.

It even has these taillights.

Seen it at the local car meets too...

Seems pretty questionable to me. It's not a Ferrari; accept it and move on.

Wasn't that damage caused because of the exhaust they had to run at Laguna Seca?

Yep, Laguna Seca and more specifically the city of Monterey is extremely rigid about noise, except when major series are racing there. Which is why you end up with crazy contraptions like such:

It's not the only racetrack with such regulations, some in Europe are even crazier:

That's pretty damn stupid, even if it is for the sake of reducing noise. It's ugly, that GTR especially - looks more like a truck exhaust.

"Just in case anyone mistakes my Miata for an actual Shelby Cobra, I'll put some stupid wheels on it."

On the topic of wheels, I'd say wires don't work on a Fiat Dino...

...and they work even less when paired with the standard wheels on the other side.

The Ferrari badges don't belong on it either, regardless of the relationship. Enzo didn't consider his own Dino a Ferrari.

I'm liking the color combination and stripe, though.

That's just stupid :dunce:. I was looking it up and the noise limit is 92dB, that is low someone mowing their lawn would make more noise then 92dB.
How much sound can the curved piped on the Evo muff?

That's what happens when dumb people build houses near racetracks, unfortunately.
Or the dumb people for buying them.

And yet there's no noise restrictions on a Harley-Davidson.

Go figure :odd:
