I've yet to see a rat rod that makes me hate them less. They really are the scourge of the hot rod scene. :yuck:

For some reason a part of me really likes this. Not every car found is pristine condition and doing something interesting with what otherwise might have rusted away in a field isnt something I can hate on. I also dig the rat rod look.

I think thats exactly what its trying to be...
I must admit I like the thought but the execution does't work|

as for the rats... meh, I do like the bare metal truck.

as for this
I'd like to think this is photoshopped but I expect it's not.

I think this one is a true rat built with whatever peices could be fused together from a field full of actually wrecked cars...

Yeah, I would maybe paint it to make a matching theme. But I kinda like how that looks too.

Saw this the other day

Found another American gem. A lot of the El Camino style conversions folks don't turn out so great. This might have been better if the person had avoided that idiotic looking back window.

That's what happens when someone thinks to themselves, "I've got this crap Mazda and some trailer lights, and I've just run out of crystal." I wonder how many rotten teeth are buried in the fifteen-or-so pounds of body filler.

Where's the seller? Vermont?

...

I...I can't think of anymore meth jokes. Watch this space just in case.

The seller was in some small town in Illinois. I know, I’m just as surprised as you. /s

Gag me.

On this page for relevance, it's salvageable with a change of rims.

I'd buy a can of Plasti-Dip for the rims and then drive the heck out of it 👍

The Bandit has fallen on hard times. Across state line smuggling doesn't bring the rewards it once did.

Still, i bet the Xantia isn't that much down on power in comparison.
