It is fake. That picture is uber old.

Cars like that Crown Vic/Grand Maruqis are also really common around here. There's one guy around my town that's got a 10" subwoofer inbetween the front driver and passenger seat.

Last time I was at Les Schwab, they had rims that were at least 36". They were absolutely enormous. Pointless, yes, but they do exist. Some people just have no taste.
