Most old cars just look and sound fast.

PM me if you ever visit the UK. I'll take you on a (straight line) thrash in my 1962 Corvette. A 400hp Holley fuel-injected 327 is being prepped for it now. :)

'62 Corvette, and a '7x Lancia Fulvia? I so need to come to a UKGTP at your place. So.

oh come on, the late c3s didn't look too bad IMO, though they were underpowered thanks to slow adaptation to Emissions and what not. But in person I think unmolested c3s look as good as the c4 ever did.

I just got back from there...but I'm not saying all old cars are slow, I'm just saying a lot of them are, but only look and sound fast.

C3's of ANY year look fantastic. The early models looked the best, with the chrome accents and the old school taillights.

The C4 was trash. I hated every ounce of it...and I came to that conclusion after owning a 1992 model. Its only redeeming quality was the noise.

F-body cars were slow for most models--only special editions were sort-of fast.

That's sad. I mean, just look at one of the questions this person asked about the item:

"Do I get a discount in shipping if I buy 2? I want to put one on the roof and one on the inside of my car so when I look up a can pretend to be looking outside, also can you make one that simulates looking up at the stars I think chicks would really dig it or put a scary face on it so when People in my car look up the think there is somebody on the roof I think you have endless possibilities with this product. Thanks."

What a loooooser. So very, very, very sad.

Q: my car does not have an anti lock braking system - i am interested in an abs light for my dash - i cannot afford nor am i interested in the actual braking benefits of an abs system - i am solely interested in tricking people into thinking my car is safer than it is. do you or are you looking into prototyping this product - it seems like its up your alley.

A: We are working on new ideas, thank you.

edit: oh god... they're all funny.

I think the Blazer needs one.

Oh and just to show a photo of something....

It's a Escachero someone made and it found it's way to Autoblog.

Huh...I actually like the way it looks. pretty purposeful. In fact...i'd be tempted to say it's some sort of euro-spec commercial vehicle.

Then again, it has US plates on it. well, as long as it's well-done...

Oh...My...God....
The amount of questions is just silly, and it just goes to show how many people actually read the body of the auction before asking such ridiculous things!

How many of these do you think will end up on hoods of "ricer cars" . I can see one on a 1974 Ford Pinto now:dopey:

im willing to bet that some of those questions are just making fun of the seller for coming up with such a sad product

I think they are geniuses I mean come on it's a sheet of vinyl and they are getting almost $30 a pop for em.

Just raggin' on ya. Yes, old cars in general are not as quick as new cars. Else what would be the point of new cars? :)

My Corvette will still have a live rear axle and leaf springs. :scared:

True, but not for a good cause; I'd rather NOT to see one of them planted on a car roof anytime soon.

Taking money from stupid people is always a good cause .

The wheel arches just don't do a thing for me. I think they look bloody daft!

Ditto on the arches..slapped on as afterthoughts when he widened the suspension and suddenly realized his tires were sticking out by a half-foot.

and then he painted it.

the Civic air dam...

"Honda tested their latest technology for a new 20MPH safety bumper law under the clever disguise of a "Fast and Furious" Sport compact."

And how does this guy turn? I would bet some money that this bike ends up in a flaming crash of death.

Wow that just made me laugh really hard...and I'm at work. I bet the people in the cubicals around me wonder what the hell.
