It actually looks like the R8's far cousin that could dress up quite well on its own, but was jealous of the R8 and stole it's clothes, but didn't consider that they were smaller than it needed. And now the cousin can't figure out why people are laughing at it's rolls of fat poking out from under the clothes and just looks awkward and embarrasing.

Basically, yeah. Now, on that Fiat...doesnt' the hood drooping over the headlights like that restrict nightime vision?

Go here, and check the transformation. A Saab 900 Turbo into an amazing Gangster Car for Martin Kemp, thanks to the Chop Shop team. There is also a gallery for the public's modified cars. I can't post the pictures for some readson though. It's worth looking at.

I'll bet they STILL didn't fix the Torque Steer.

Wow...just...that's pretty dumb, particularly throwing the Audi Shield Grille on there. There's no Saab in there whatsoever. Did they put the engine farther forward, too?

I hope it meets a tree first time it's stomped upon.

The red and white atrocity... where have the tail lights been lifted from?

My flatmate and I watch that programme religiously. It's compellingly awful what they do. That Lippu bloke is (IMO) a complete fraud and his team of 'engineers' look like they haven't got a clue. That Bernie fella is quite amusing though. I find it hilarious that they actually take these contraptions to events like the FOS and Race of Champions expecting to be taken seriously. Good viewing though!

Check out the specs of one of their spawns. A 'high-end', 'sports' car:

Engine: Checked and fully serviced for optimum performance
Exhaust: Custom built system for maximum performance
Induction: Forced air K and N Apollo Cone kit
ECU: Re-mapped for optimum performance
Suspension: Standard and checked for efficiency
Brakes: Heavy duty brake pads and discs fitted previously
Wheels: Hanzo Wolfrace 17 inch and new wheel bolts deep dished latest release
Bodywork: Totally modified body and roof section using 0.8 gauge cold rolled steel custom sprayed and lacquered and detailed
Other mods: Modified interior utilising style and comfort and safety

The likes of Pininfarina and Vandenbrink Design are really bricking themselves!

EDIT: I have seen a few of those Niche TT R8alikes on the road here and they look worse in the flesh than in the picture. On the road they look far too top heavy. Like a clown car version of the R8.

Hey stumpydino, you should post that car in the "guess that headlight/taillight" thread, those taillights are hard to find!

The only reason that car looks remotely good is because the body is actually straight on it. It looks like crap, but it was done right at least.
