I wouldn't mind driving that around. No matter how many times someone told me it looked stupid, I could just respond with "So what, I'm still driving the faster car".

What's so great about anime anyway ?
Well, american animated shows tend to be either slapstick and mindbendingly obtuse, or poorly drawn/animated and difficult to take seriously. The shows that are animated well and are entertaining to watch are layered to appeal to both adults and children, and are thus no more complex than a sitcom.

I don't watch anime regularly, I don't like most of the popular ones, and I don't understand the attraction of sticking pictures of anime girls on things like that Lamborghini...but there are some shows I enjoy. It's a perfect medium for action, as it's much cheaper and easier to animate a cinematic, detailed, action-packed anime show than it is a show with live actors and locales.

I like it anyways. Slap some NGE on there (or some FLCL) and I'm sold.
The only way I'd drive that is if it was Cowboy Bebop.

Otherwise, fail. Fail. Fail, dammit, burn it. 👎:grumpy:
Eww...Is that a 5 Series next to it painted the same damn way? Burn it too.

Id rather conviscate the cars from the tastless or blind owner, respray them and keep em :)

Uh...I would drive that if I was getting paid by the studio to do so. On a racetrack. With a number on my car.

But, I will say this much...It's a vinyl wrap. It'll come off much more easily than some of those airbrush jobs of a landscape, or some game animal, one sees on the tailgates of pickup trucks.

Now, I ain't got nothin' 'gainst bein' a Blue-Collar boy, but that's like a tattoo...very hard to get off.

It lets you "film" things that would otherwise be impossible with cameras and current computer graphics. Things like a person getting impaled by large stakes. Or a person who smiles all the time flying into the air in a red orb and attacking large blue creatures with red eyes.

I love that episode!

OT: Gallardo is awesome, need black rims with a blue/purple painted lip.

Wow.......... an itasha Gallardo!!!!! Me like.....
Seriously, that is so cool. Wouldn't mind driving all day, at least it was done tastefully. ;) Much better than that other Gallardo that was done with that awful tribal design. :yuck: I'm surprised that this is the first Itasha post in this thread, as I was wondering when will you guys noticed about itashas.......

Of all the cars that had to be turn into a itasha, why a Lancia Stratos!!!!? The Gallardo was okay, but still this is a damn freaking classic! I wonder how much does the value depreciate after this.......

All of those damn cars =

They just scream I'm a rich 40 year old virgin whose overly obsessed with anime......

Oh sweet! they have a Lucky Star Alfa with Kagami on the hood! And it explains why I've never seen that person before, I've never seen that.

I like the Gallardo, but I agree with you. A Stratos is a hands off item. A Gallardo is still in production.

Good god, it's a freaking temporary vinyl. Look closely, and you can see where it's been put over the louvers. and, from the looks of it, it's on a replica, because i'm pretty certain you wouldn't put THOSE wheels on an actual Stratos. and even if you would, I'm pretty certain the owner still has the original mag wheels.

Mountains. Molehills. get 'em straight.

That poor, poor Stratos. :grumpy:

There's plenty of Stratos kits around - they're almost as common as GT40 or Cobra kits.

Amen.

It's in Japan, guessing AW11.

EDIT: Actually, From what I'm seeing googling, they're homebuilt chassis.
