It came with the car... the original owner put on it. It's a dash cover. If I don't use it then you'd see a very cracked dash. The car is 20yrs. old and I don't have any interest in putting money to something that's not going to last. :rolleyes:
 
i remember the bit in newspaper about the guy wanting to cover a capri in toy cars, in my mind it looked awesome lol

I can't understand why you are making fun of that Caddy. I'm pretty sure that if the spoiler wasn't there he would simply take flight. That little piece of plastic has to producing 3,000,000,000,000 lbs of downforce.
 
I'm sorry, but the whole Caddy + Wing + Flying away without it deal is plunging me into a case of deja vu.
 
As far as the spoiler on the caddy goes they might have installed it to keep the rear of the car cleaner. I had a 68 Nomad stationwagon that had a spoiler on the back (yes they came from the factory that way) and you would be suprised as to how it keep the rear of the wagon clean.

Because it sure as hell isn't keeping anything else clean. It's not creating any downforce (the angle of attack is zero, and it's not some sophisticated shape), and it's not cleaning up the wake, either. It's just there to create drag.

The angle appears to be an almost negative angle. Perhaps, with it being FWD, the owner has angled the wing to create lift at the back forcing the nose of the car down and giving it potentially loads more grip at the front 💡

You didn't think of that possibility did you? Clever chaps these Caddy drivers.
