Is that first car covered in coins? :odd:

No idea...well, to me, those circular bits look bigger than most monetary coins.

Here's a Camaro covered in coins:

I don't find this questionable. Indeed, the wheel covers occupy a special place of being a modification which is entirely pursuant to function over form. I plan on doing the same with my cheap old Jackaroo (Isuzu Trooper) too eek out a few more kilometres.

In fact, I don't understand why wheel covers aren't as universally available as OEM options like sunroofs. For a few extra hundred dollars, the owner can have a more streamlined vehicle. And since a large part of new car buyers don't care about looks (see, eg, buyers of Toyotas, Nissans and Hondas), they should sell well.

Didn't picture it, but I saw a Toyota 1box minivan... with a GT-R badge of a Nissan, and a red Toyota emblem.
I also saw a Nissan 1box minivan with a Infiniti badge and a rather loud exhaust.

Rear fender skirts used to be popular here up until the 60's, then popularity fell. Some cars had them well into the 80's.

They caused overheating of the rear brakes and tires, which is the main reason why they aren't offered from the factory any more.

As much as I hate PT cruisers, somehow this modified front grill and set of wheels and color...almost made me post this in the customs thread, though I'd be going to hell. I like it.

 I saw this last week. Hoped I wouldn't see it again.
