To the Ford owner..."So what color is your car?"

Jeez, that minivan above is terrible.
Then again, a minivan does have one of the hardest exteriors to modify and look good afterwards.

What in the hell is the pic doing on the passenger door window...I sure hope the owner is a chick.......Infact I sure hope no one owns that car and it's just a practical joke before it gets crushed at the junkyard...

I have an old mate in his late 30's who drives the same gen ford galaxy as the one above, he's modified it and it actually looks pretty good, deep dish rims and a nice front bumper and exhaust, with the same headlight conversion as above but the same colour as the car. I might try to get some pics and post it up in here, much cleaner than that heap anyway.

and the owner is a guy.. that car was even local GTi mag, in the readers cars-section.. it was pretty popular because it's done with nice details..

I couldn't get the camera phone unlimbered quickly enough, but I saw two winners today.

Early-'90s 300 ZX: Black with mix-n-match white and baby blue unpainted fiberglass body kit pieces. Wings West widemouth that exposes a bunch of untidy stuff the factory bumper neatly covered up, one of those weird wings with the curved bottom, and ugly side skirts (one cracked of course). Stock rims. Interior paint. It's got two 4" punk pipes instead of the stock small-bore quads, and the entire back of the car is grey with oil and dirt because he's spent all his money tarting up a piece of crap instead of fixing the blown headgasket that made it affordable anyway.

Mid-'90s Civic sedan: Blue, shaved door handles on the back doors but not the fronts, jive-ass extruded aluminum parkbench. Clear tails and punk pipe. Some cheap wheels that actually might have looked good if they were the only thing he'd done to the car. Big Assorted Plastic Crap windshield banner on both front and back glass. And then the piece de resistance - a giant The Fast and the Furious logo in vinyl on the hood and on the back bumper!

Luckily, after that I saw a very nicely done EK Civic hatch - black with nice light Rota wheels, subtle exhaust, and a clean interior. He got my nod because on the hatch was a single JDM-style "Civic Type R" sticker, in the proper location... except instead of "Type" it said "Fake", in the correct typeface.

Assorted Plastic Crap

APC - guess you've coined a new phrase Duke 👍 - I'll design a APC logo and sell it to the ricers to add to their behind-the-front-wheels 'shopping lists' :sly:
