The Sting Ray was sold throughout 1977. The name stopped meaning anything after 1972, so whether they used a Sting-Ray or not, if it was made after 1972 it sucked anyways.no, what they destroyed was a stingray and thats just not cool, i did see the movie though.
Hm? The 70's were by far the worst years for the Corvette. They couldn't handle (as every Corvette made after 1984 could), and they weren't fast (as every Corvette made after 1992 was). The 50's is second, then the 80's. After that is most likely the 90's or 60's.TEAMDiablo3Most of the corvettes that sucked were made in the 90's.
That would be the 70's, then. The Corvette was completely and totally redesigned in 1983, for the 1984 model year. Throughout the 70's, all the Corvette did was get uglier and slower as time passed.TEAMDiablo3Im pretty sure in the 80's, they kept just adding on features and different body options to the stingray but im not too sure.

All of those are 7000% better than the Corvette from Corvette Summer. With the exception of the first and third one, they also look quite a bit better than they did originally. That purple one even looks like Silhouette II, which is the epitome of awesome.
