I don't think it's really an Audi...

What's questionable about the blue Ford hot rod? It's awesome if you ask me...
the ford look fine.
The Ford is sweet though.

- The... snow plow in front. What the hell.
- The HEMI in the hood scoop in Chrysler font... helll, the HEMI lettering in the scoop at all. Hell, the freaking scoop is downright questionable, it becomes a stain of poop with the HEMI lettering.
- widened running boards/rear fenders.
- The stance is absolutely horrible.
- lack of a theme/style trhoughout the car. "Let's keep it traditional by retaining the side marker lights that look like an 18th century carriage lights, but let's also put low profile tires and big Torq Trusts on it!". Stupid all troughout.

That car is the perfect definition of the waste of a Boss engine.

(Or at least I'm pretty sure it's sc'd)

Aaaaand there goes all your credibility. Yeah, there it goes. It's pretty far away now. Wave it goodbye.

It's pretty much the left one to me. I've seen that many times already.

Although the one on the center is pretty famous too for being on Top Gear.

But, yeah...no worries.

A difference: a hot rod is built, not born. The guy had a chance to actually choose what parts to put and modify on the car, and he chose the lol way. Your comparison is absolutely moot. If I was in the show I'd secretly laugh my ass off when I saw that car. It looks like it was made in Mexico ffs, with the exception of the engine. In here it'd have a ford 302 or a 350. Or a Datsun motor. Over there in good ole US of A you can actually have a Boss 429 engine in a car and, omfg, ruin it.

I don't completely disagree with you, but who says certain engines HAVE to be in certain cars? Yes, it would've been stupid if he put a 2JZ or a VR38DETT (examples), but what should be keeping him from putting a 429 into an old hot rod?

Nothing, absolutely. As nothing kept them from actually turning the car into a cool hot rod instead of the smorgasboard of unrelated parts it now is. A proper T-tub with a Boss 429 would be awesome. This one is laughable.

I guess it just depends on your tastes. Besides the big side steps, I really like it. I always thought a lot of unrelated parts was part of the hot rod culture, anyways.

It's not about "unrelated parts" only, it's about making them work well in conjunction, be it an engine and trans combo that were never paired from the factory, or a bunch of pieces from several cars to make a car look good. This guy didn't.
