Yes but the thread is about questionable modifications and every now and then people post something they think is questionable but isn't and thus need to clarify how. You personally thinking it's ugly doesn't make it questionable, there are other threads for that, especially regarding race cars. It's not an opinion that it is a functioning pro-mod C1 look a like it's fact. Running low 6s to high 5 second mark in a quarter-mile at 250+ isn't questionable modifying, it's fine that you don't care for it that's great.

You're absolutely missing the point. This car was NEVER modified to look like this. It was made to look like this from the begining, from the very mold. Thus that makes it irrelevant for this thread.

Oooh, ok then. I was under the impression that some guy took a C1 chassis and modded it until it was hellspawn.

It' s a drag racer, right? I know nothing about that. I know a little bit about engines, and the basics on how a car works, specific cars are a bit of uncharted territory.

I know, reading up on them takes a whole lot of time though. In between job hunting, school, getting a license, taking care of other personal issues, and all that other fun stuff, I don't end up with much time.

There's many classes for drag racing. Trust me, if you really like cars as much as you say you do, you'll find time.

Thing is, those are responsibilities, they take priority. Of course I have free time right now, so I'm reading up, but come this Monday it's back to buisness as usual.

I'm well aware of said priorities, as are 99% of the guys that post here, and trust me, I think their lives are way busier than yours is.

Personally, I'd start from the bottom up for how an engine even works and how parts of cars work in conjunction with each other before even getting into this kind of stuff.

If you haven't noticed by now, when I get bored I look at MBWorld.com for questionable mods.

This really isn't that bad, it's just so damn low and so much camber...

I also saw a C230 with lambo doors but it's so overplayed I didn't care.
 
Must be the taste factor then. I think it looks decent. Not over the top.
